G; The Pz III Ausf G is looking good, nice camo and scratch storage racks. The gray realy has a green tint , like my Blitz is a lot more brown than yellow. One of theses days I might figure out lighting and be able to take pictures that show the correct color as seen by the eye.

Tony; Glad to see you started on the 232. The supension looks like it was a fun job. Nice progress. That is another vehicle I want to do someday.

Hi Guys, checking in here Zon and Anthony your stuff is looking great
I got my Tamiya Tent Set in the mail today and started cutting and glueing as soon as I got is out of the box. It's all primed and will be ready for paint hopefully tomorrow. The Tiger will be rolling up on the radio operator looking for fuel, at least thats what I have in mind right now

Jeremy: I have a 1/35th dragon kit of another vehicle (can't remember the name of it just now), that has the same turret / grenade screen. Dragon pre-folds the cage for you on that kit. I'll try to remember it for ya.

Sal: thanks for the comments. Looking forward to seeing paint on your Tiger.

Edo,

I just used some styrene angle stock and some strip. The real thing would have been hastily welded together, so that's what I did. With glue

Jeremy: the kit I was thinking about with the pre-formed grenade screens is this one:

1/35 DML6294 Aufklarungs Pz.Kpfw.38(t) mit 2cm Kw.k.38- Smart Kit

http://www.greatmodels.com/~smartcart/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=DML6294

It's been burying in my stash so long now that I might have to dig it out and give it a go!!

Lots of work and a touch of the flu has slowed this down. Here's where I'm at now.

Details painted, enamel protected by Future, oil washes and drybrushing. Heading down the home stretch now.

Dang G, nothing seems to slow you down! Nice progress, how did you get the decals to lay down so smoothly on the sides of the turret?

G;

Coming right along, decals look good, nice job on ther turret sides, those kit decals were rather thick as I remember. Nice detail painting. One thing, you might want to check is the divisonal mark for the 3rd Pz, upside down Y with two marks?

Thank You Gentlemen.

Jeremy, copious amounts of Micro Sol, prodding, pushing, and foul language yielded the results seen on the turret. After a day or so I touched them up with red and white paint.

Ralph, "thick" is a very politically correct term in describing these, ahem, decals. I'm glad they they were though, as I would never have been able to get the results I did. They withstood a lot of abuse that would render "normal" decals useless. I think I buggered the unit markings up. These were probably not meant for this tank. Oh well, I'll modify them or remove them as needed after a bit of research.
