Charlie: I've wondered where you've been. I think I remember that project, get some photos up as soon as you can.

Daniel: Looking good! I'm not used to painting the parts on the sprue, but I may need to start doing that for the smaller scales.

I've finished the basic construction of my 1/48 GREIF, just need to find the transfer cable so I can download the photos from my camera.

Hi Guys,
Due to illness and a multitude of family problems, I am not going to be able to complete the campaign...it ends tomorrow and I have not touched the 222 since I last posted...I have to congratulate all the fellow modellers on some stunning builds and look forward to viewing the gallery of finished models.

All the best chaps,

Paul

Jeremy and gang,

Sorry to say, but I'm going to have to bow out of this one too. My entry (Tamiya SdKfz251 & Pak40) is still unpainted and I would need time to detail the tissue tarp I added a week ago. Events in "real life" over the past two weeks robbed me of quality build-time and now I doubt I could finish it by Christmas. (Painting & decaling will take too much time...)

Still, I'm impressed with all the other good stuff being posted here!

I'm fighting hard to finish this off. I thought the end date was Dec. 15, but the campaign is already off the Campaigns page. Anyway, I will finish this week.

Happy Modelling, -zon

Keep at it Zon!

You guys have until the 31st of December. If more time is needed I will reevaluate the situation and see what works.

Don't forget to post your finished photos in the official gallery!

Niced one Jeremy, could do with it finishing end of the year, I've had a mad month at work and have barely been anywhere near the bench...... but I should have it finished by the end of the year.

well, sort of on time for the finish date, but it turns out the kit is about 8 or 9 track links short on each side - the sharp eyed will notice missing links on the rear idler. I will eventually fix that once i find a source, but obviously not today, so i am calling it done (for now and the campaign) regardless. The rusted out exhaust gaurds are not so bright in real life, but the photos make them look odd.

Man, I've been away far to long!
What great builds show up here; a Diana, a 251, lotls of great little Panzers....

@ Vance; love the job and finish on your Panzer II. Too bad about the tracts. Drop me a pm as I might have some spares for you!

Well, as for my progress; I have been putting it off for a very long time, too. The main reason was the huge gap ate the bottom rear.... but I finally tackled it!

Not the most elegant solution; a large strip of plasticcard;

Than add a few tablespoons of putty;

Is messes up the interior though and try to readch that afterwards;

I did miss some items in the Dragonkit, such as the large lump of fabric (a tent?) on the front fender and the tarp at the rear I really didn't want to scratch them, so I addapted some Tamiyaparts. With some dirt and dust on them it might not even be noticed;

First I have to see what it looks like after the baselayer.

It's good to see you back Ron, I wasn't sure that we'd get to see your build finished. Keep it up

Yes indeed, I'm debating waiting until the 31st, or awarding them as projects are finished.

for some reason I had it in my head that the campaign was finished 12-14-2011,if not my mistake,I'm not rushing you Jeremy if it is indeed not finished till the 31st,then anytime after that is okay with me.

The campaign is unofficially extended to the end of the year to enable people to finish and get a picture into the campaign gallery (which hasn't been cooperating for me today).

Anthony: You are correct about the end date, and I did unofficially extend the campaign date for those who were already enlisted and have their projects started. If you don't mind I do have a lot on my plate and would like to get everything out at once so that I don't accidentally miss someone.

Gary: If it would help, I can have everyone else post their finished photos here in the campaign thread until the gallery becomes functional again.

I hope I can get it done by the 31st.

I think that's all we can do for now. *sigh* Of course that works for those using another photo site like Flickr, Picassa, or Photobucket.
