@ Sal - Nice job! I see you're sprinting for the finishing line, as usual
@ Paul - Welcome Campaign virgin I can't speak for the others, but I promise I'll be gentle with you I built one of those recently and can thoroughly recommend the Resicast tracks (available from Historex) Vastly superior to the 'lazzie band' tracks! Are you sorted for reference pictures? I found some good walk-arounds.
Cheers,
Dierk

@ Dierk
Would appreciate any material you can point me in the direction of can never have enough. How were the tracks to use as im still pretty new to hobby and might rapidly run out of skill if they a very hard to work

@ Paul - When I used the tracks it was a first for me as well, and they turned out OK. I'll send you a PM (personal message - look on the top of the page, you'll see your inbox highlighted in yellow with a '1'. On my browser (Firefox) the top of the page is a bit garbled, if it's the same for you look in the region of the 'search' box) I'll send you some links on how to work resin tracks and links to the pictures I have found.

Paul: I have built a couple of these kits. They are straightfoward and were a enjoyable build. The kit tracks are just fine. I wouldn't invest in the indi links, unless you are planning on entering it into a contest. When you build it, remember you have to put the driver in place before you add the plate with the steering column and wheel.

Ok off I go. I am doing an AFV Club M3A3 Stuart. My plan right now is to add Canadian markings, if I can find some more information. I have seen that the a few armored unit and armored recon units did use the M3A3. I would like to confirm more, or I may just wing it, and it will belong the 8th Canadian Hussars. We will see.
Y'all enjoy the campaign and may we all have fun.

Armor? or Softskin? For a jeep, it has tons of armament.
If not that, then this

Dave, Im sure that SAS jeep is a real cool kit but I would go with the Staghound Armor and Armament just my $.02
I got the dessert tan sprayed on my honey and i hope to mask it off and spray the blue on tomorrow
Also found a britsh tanker in the spare parts box I may put him in the turret if he fits. Lets hope all goes well

@Dave: The key word is "Armor". I meant this to imply only armor. Although, I would surely follow your blog on the jeep.

everybody,
Not sure when I'll get to start it yet (still struggling with Joan Rivers ) But here's my entry: Dragon T34 1940 model, Eduard PE and Armorscale mantlet and barrel:
The plan is to add some appliqué armour to the front (but not the turret - I don't want to spoil the clean lines )
Haven't decided on finish yet.
Cheers,
Dierk

I was struggling to choose between M10 or M36 so I went right and chose the Crusader III. Going straight OOTB and with the desert camo

@CloseCombat (Greg)
The 1/48 Crusader is an excellent choice. I built the Mk.I/II for the 1/48 Campaign and it was a joy to build. In the usual (current) Tamiya way - just shake and bake! Have fun. As an aside, I found the Blackdog 1/48 British stowage set excellent for some 'odds and ends' to put on the Crusader.
BTW, thanks for the comment on the SU-85.

Ok back again glued the upper hull on today and added the marking
Also added some storage and the tow cable which is a little too long when following the directions. I'm gonna try and get some washes on it tomorrow. Also found this link today, a little to late for me but maybe someone else has this kit

ok I think I'm ready to call this 1 finished
added some storage to the rear and a figure from the spare parts box
applied a burnt umber wash and some dry brush bronze iron oxide
Also cleaned up the nasty pin marks that I missed on the inside part of the top hatch and repainted it
so any helpful comments or recommendations would be appreciated before I post in the gallery and move on to the next campaign
