Getting there, decals for Canadian Grenadier Guards added, weathering started, using Mig Washes, Vallejo Pigments, and oils.
Next set of shots should be of the completed model, then build and write an article, next campaign, and so on......

That is looking really nice Kevin. Some exceptional work. The commander is extremely well done.
Now, I just have to get back to my M36.

Gentlemen:
Attached is my "in the box photo" of the Mk III Valentine II that I am building for the campaign.
This looks like it will be an interesting build. I am still waiting for some goodies in the mail. This will be a 7th Armor tank, havn't decided on which regiment yet.

A few progress shots.
With the exception of adding a pigment or two, the barrel and breach are done.
I have a little more to due on the interior, such as weathering with pigments, adding the instrument panel and finishing the ammo storage. I haven't decided whether I want to use turned brass ammo or dress up the plastic rounds supplied.
Hopefully, I can finish the turret tomorrow. It's raining today and I do all of my airbrushing outside. Can't use the garage, because there are about $20,000 worth of paint jobs in it.

Matt
Nice looking start to the interior. Hopefully it will stop raining and you can finish.

Alright I got my T-34/76 done and I finally got the photo site to let me in so here we go. I would post more in-progress pictures but they came out too blurry.

everybody,
Main construction is over. Ice-cleats and their straps as well as head-light lens, tracks and MGs will be fitted after painting:
As the weather is currently even more English than usual causing my shed/studio to be cold and damp, it's going to be a while before I get to paint the model.
cheers,
Dierk

Hello Everyone.
I guess I'm a late starter, but better late than never. I have been preparing for my build, the Universal Carrier Mk II Forced Recon.
I thought I'd throw up a photo of whats in the box..
and the item that makes this Carrier called the Forced Reconnaissance version.
A british crew set for the N.W. Europe taking a look around.
the kit also has the older North Africa figures in it too so the markings in this kit are 1 for Tunisia, and 3 versions for N.W. Europe.
Hopefully I'll have some building done this weekend.
Delbert

Nice jobs Kevin and David
I'm going for a third entry here (does that increase or decrease my odds of completing the campaign ) . This time I'm using a Tamiya M10 kit and converting it with a Gasoline Slugger. I used spares from a HobbyBoss M4A3 to change the engine deck to M10A1. I know things aren't exactly positioned right but close enough for my eyes and patience.

Yes indeed Matt. I was just looking back through the thread and saw you're doing m36 too. I don't want to piss on anyone's fun as I see you've started painting already, but you have the M10 hull not M36. The M10 hull was used on the post-WWII M36B2, and the M36 WWII hull used the M10A1 hull. If you have a M10 turret you can just put it on top and be fine. This article helped my transformation:

I originally wasn't going to change mine either, and just throw some blankets and bedrolls over the offending deck parts so there's another option. Remember it's all learning and fun - that's why we build these things and insanity.

I'll just cover mine with stowage and canvas. The engine vents don't fit snug, so I had already planned on covering it up.

I'm in with a OOB Bronco Staghound. Looks pretty nice on the sprues, hoping for a good fit. Markings will be per the 2 Cdn Corps provided, and on the box art:

I always thought the staghound was an interesting vehicle. Is this the kit that includes the interior?

I think you are thinking of the Humber Mk IV (which was actually my second choice for this campaign!) It comes with a full interior, as well as hull parts that are moulded in clear and opaque plastic, in case you want to show off the interior from the outside.

Hi Guys.
Some great work going on here.. anyways thought I'd throw up a progress shot, as I've managed to get a couple of nights work in on the project..
and yep I see the sink hole I have to work on. and the drivers arm.. had to pull a bit to get it to fit into the drivers compartment.. which is why the front hull plate isn't glued down yet.. if I do I will never get the driver in there...
