Man,that Krupp looks nice, although it likes it might tip over backwards if you touched it off I am thinking about going with a 1/72 jagdpanther to save a little money and because I have not done one that scale, any suggestions? Jeff

Dragon makes some pretty good JagdPanthers and I know Trumpeter makes some as well, but I don't have any first hand experience with those

Hi guys! I'm in also!
I'm thinking to build a Jagdpanther, 1/72 scale from Dragon, presented in a vignette or a small dio!

Hi, folks!
Panthers. Haven't built one since 1972, and never in 1/35. Have several waiting in the stash. Time to put my toe into P-kitty water! Thankfully this one comes due next year (whew!)
So, I'm IN - I think the Dragon / CH Panther F mit gummigedampften stahlaufrollen kit 6403 will be me - likely pretty much OOTB. (but I'm sure I'll tinker a little bit here and there.)

Welcome to the campaign Bob.
As this campaign will be quite heavy on members gallery space I am willing to help out by hosting the pictures and providing the links to the posters.

I'll let you know soon.

Hi all,
Just checking in as we still have about 4 months to go before the start of this Campaign. I just recently picked up a new Eduard Zimmerit set for my Panther A ,/Dragon kit # 6358. I have 2 questions for you all.
1. If anyone here has used this zimmerit before, can you tell me which glue/adhesive works best ? 2. How can I get one of the Banners on to my profile ?
Thanks, milvehfan

Milvehfan, I just finished a King Tiger using an Eduard PE zimm set.
What worked best for me was Gator Grip glue. It's a water based white glue with fantastic holding properties. I scuffed up the plastic and the back of the PE with a course sanding stick, then used an old paintbrush to spread the glue. I put the glue on the tanks surfaces and attached the PE holding it in place with flat wood stir sticks and clamps. Working one panel at a time, I was able to attach all the PE in about three days.
I live in a desert climate with low humidity and high temps and the Gator Grip still gave good working time.

Milvehfan I have never used photo etched zimmerit before but I can agree about the gator glue as it gives you time to get it just right as regards position and will hold well.
In order to add a banner you go settings- modify profile and under where it say url for signature you enter the image text, the image address can be obtained from the images I uploaded earlier in this thread and in order to use the same one as I have used it is "https://armorama.kitmaker.net/photos/feature/3189/panther_campaign_banner.jpg"
Pete thank you for the drawing as I am sure it will come in handy for anyone tempted to try and build that model.

Wayne and Darren,
Thank You,
I appreciate the imput to my questions. My next order will include the Gator Glue. Now, I'll try and add that Banner, I am not very computer minded.
Regards, milvehfan

Before I enlist (and not to make waves) but would the new Trumpeter E-50 work? I know it was said "If it has a Panther chassis and is based on a vehicle that existed (even as just a mock up) it will be allowed as a part of this campaign." So I had to ask ... I have one un-built.
I guess if not I could finally use that AA Coelin turret and then get a Panther A or D chassis.

I would prefer AA Coelin turret on a Panther A or D chassis but will accept the E-50.

On second thought, digging the kit out I found I have the DML Ersatz M10 ... with nothing else to purchase. With the Coelin I'll have to get a donor tank kit and those resin barrels look terrible and I am having a bit of difficulty finding those 3.7CM barrels in 1/35.
I usually build larger scale R/C tanks, but I have accumulated soooo much over the years in 1/35 I need to start building them or else.
I just took a break on building a couple of Sci-Fi models and I think this campaign will be a blast!
