Delbert, also watch out for that AK track wash,it is a great color but it melted the glue holding my magic tracks in a few places,it's hot stuff so use it sparingly
hey Anthony, which glue were you using on those magic tracks by the way...
that way I know what to avoid...
I used Modelmaster liquid in the black plastic bottle, but people have told me that the AK is hot stuff,I mean it didn't seperate every link, but a few came apart,so I wouldn't slather it on

Delbert and Anthony,
I used the Model masters Liquid cement in the black plastic bottle as Anthony used on a set of Dragon sd kfz 251 tracks. my home made wash of paint and white spirits made some of the links fall apart, so I don't think its a very good choise for indy link track.
I'm sure if you use Tamiya extra thin, it should be just fine.

Sal, no they are not the magic tracks.. the Panzerjager I i have in the stash has the magic tracks but this panzer IB doesn't.
One of the things that is taking so long is the caution I have to take cleaning them up. The things are kinda fragile and if you are not careful they break when sanding them.
I did rob the rear idlers from the panzerjager so the kit would have the right ones..

Hi, i'd like to ask if i can join this campaign. I was looking at my stash today and saw Trumpeter's Pz 38t E/F. It would be a good chance to build it.

Hi all,
I'm about half way through the building phase of the 35(t)
I added an aftermarket barrel from LionMarc, which I highly recommend if you tackle this kit.
Big John Beautiful job on the Stuart.
Delbert Impressed by those tracks!
John We definitely need another Czech-built tank in the campaign. I've heard good things about the Trumpeter kit.

Hi guys, i enlisted, so.... reporting for modelling duties!
The kit seems to be nice and well detailed. It is not the edition with the full interior, but still it has a nice gun and detailed commanders cupola at the turret. I'll paint it in panzer gray colour. It's the first Trumpeter kit i will build. I hope i don't mess up...

Spotted this on the shelf and thought I'd better get back into the campaign. So did some spraying of black shading, then base coat, lastly some small streaking. Stowage and touch up is is next

It was my first time trying streaks with the airbrush per Zaloga's guidelines - love that book, "Modelling US Armor of World War 2'

Hi guys. Everything except for the tracks is ready. Now for the part i never liked the tracks....
The kit is very nicely detailed, with a very good PE set, easy to work with. The only drawback in this kit in my opinion, is that there is more flash than usual for a modern kit, especialy on very small parts.

John,
Your Pz38 looks like she's been slogging through some Russian mud.
Great job on the weathering, I also really like base layer of 'German Grey'. Was that straight out of a bottle or a custom mix of paint?
