It's been a long time since I built anything on a PzKmpf III/IV chassis and was amazed at how good the kit was so now I'll try a Stug IV

Hey guys this tread hasn't seen any action in about a week so i Figured i would give it a bump with some statistics

We have the following #'s:

86 People enlisted
43 People have posted start up photo of them 5 People have not posted anything else
18 People have posted work in progress shots
21 People have posted pictures and said that they were finished and 20 of them have posted finished pictures in the gallery

We have a little more that 2 months to go here and I know that it is the middle of the summer but if you started your build lets not forget about them and finish them up, especially the guys i see taking part in the other campaigns

Thanks for the heads up Sal. Yikes, I have not even begun the magic tracks on my Ferdinand. But no problem, short of an act of God, I'll get her finished.

Is it to late to get in on this build? I have a Dragon Abrams SEP that I am about to start, and two weeks of leave with nothing to do.

Thanks. I tried to enlist the other day, but the button wasn't there. I'm good now though. I will get some badly taken ipad pictures of the box and spruces up in the next day or two.

I agree Sal, better than any PzII tracks, no doubt.
But I'm messing these up...
I made a huge mistake, tried to paint them before setting it up on the wheels & sprockets, they became too stiff, strange shape.. anyway if I can't save this I might try 2 options:
- bath of alcohl & acetone, clean them up and assemble them over again...
- Get a set of Friulmodel or ModelKasten.. don't even know if there's any set.
Can I have a set of DStracks ? do they sell them separatly ?

Damn.
I'm really happy with the Panther F, a really amazing kit, one of the best, detailing, fitting, decal options, metal gun barrel, detailed PE.

Maybe it's my fault, I've seen build that look great with MagicTracks.. I never seem to get them quite well..

Brian,
Will be nice to see that go together, I just picked up my second one on ebay. Have not started the first one yet.

Max,
That looks Great!

I have some detail painting to do then weathering. Had to finish up my T-34 for another campaign.

Cheers Rob.

Thanks guys
might tone back the rust a bit in places even though it looks a little brighter in the pictures then it actually is, will also add some foliage and a bit of dust.

cheers.
