Matt, you're flying through that 1132....looking very good too.

Ian, looking real nice. Very neat and tidy work on the PE. Why does mine never come out like that?

@ Sean & Matt, thanks for the comments, don't know what i did well with the PE. Maybe NOT following the instructions helped.

Cheers Rob.

Stephen: That base is looking great! The pile of trash is a
nice addition.
Rob: Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. What a
headache. Have you considered purchasing am rivets?

Hi Matt,
I actually have some someplace but I wanted to do this without them or any AM stuff, I did however have to use a PE bolt head mold to press melted plastic in as some of the bolt heads got lost and some just aren't good enough to keep.

Cheers Rob.

Hello everyone, I’ve just signed up and looking at possibly building Kinetic’s M-ATV as a Polish version. Now I’m not 100% sure if these vehicle were bought by Poland or if they are TPE equipment on loan or if the radio layout would be the same as our vehicles. I’m not really all that impressed with Kinetic’s version, details are a bit soft and over simplified. I’m going do some scratch build to make some improvements and use a replacement wheels from DEF. I’ve also got two Polish figures from Toro I will adding to the build.

Stephen that really looks awsome I love the little details on the barriers.

The def wheels are perfect and a big improvement over the crappy vinyl ones that come in the kit. The set I have are ment for the panda kit, but I tested them out last night and the will fit the backing plate with a little trimming. For some reason the wheels for the panda kit were much cheaper than the kinetic wheels, so I went with the cheaper set.

@kruppw

Chris - here You are some photos of Polish M-ATV (vehicles were borrowed from the USMC):

Photos sources:
http://www.zafganistanu.pl
http://www.isaf.wp.mil.pl/pl/1_1249.html
http://www.isaf.wp.mil.pl/pl/4_1079.html

http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056014202&page=59

This is a badge (34th Armored Cavalry Brigade), painted on the bonnet and front doors:

http://www.tradycje.wp.mil.pl/pl/8_416.html
After the discussion on Polish modellers forum I'm pretty sure that orange colour of the badge is painted with yellow on vehicles, and grey is white - so there are four colours: blach, white, blue and yellow.

Modifications of Polish M-ATV:
- weapon is changed (NSW or/and PKM),
- a badge shown above,
- a registration number painted at the rear and on the front bumper. This registration is PRT (Provincial Reconstruction Team) 3X, where "X" is another number. For example "PRT 34",
- Polish white-red pennant on the antenna.

For some reason the sand on the wheels looks very yellow, its a more earthy sand then yellow sand.
Does anyone know how i submit my photo to the gallery and get my ribbon?

It's finished. Working on getting the right track sag as the tracks are very tight fitting.

Kerry: Very interesting camo. As for the gallery, I know that there have been several problems since the site changed to a new server. I would try again tomorrow. If it still doesn't work ask the staff for assistance.

Hi, I think the DEF wheels may not fit the Kinetic's kit well, sometime ago someone posted the picture of DEF wheels on that kit but it's look smaller & abit odd. Because Kinetic's kit itself is not in the right size (bigger) plus the DEF wheels in the right scale. It's make the vehicle look big with small wheel.

Hi folks!

I'm ready to start. I'm going to build the Academy M1151 OOB as an Afghan Border Police vehicle. I dig how they copied the old "chocolate chip" uniforms for their trucks. I haven't decided if I want a Dushka or PKM in the turret though.

Chris: I look forward to your build.
To the rest: No progress? Really? My kit is on hold till I can get the slat armor for it.
