Great work Pedro!
It's getting time that ill start with my project for this campaign... But I'll first have to finish that Humber!
I'm going to Normandy in may, I'm sure ill find some inspiration there.
Dave
Thanks Dave,
I finally got this build finished and will hopefully get some primer on her today.

I'm gonna build either Cannon Ball, Colombia Lou or Channel Blues. Reference pics would be really appreciated!
Ill be using the Tank Workshop wading stacks, if anyone used these before, tips are always welcome.

Actually anything on wading Sherman's is welcome, I know I need to seal the ventilators also, but is there anything else that needs to be done to make this M4 a wading Sherman?
Thanks!

First step, assembling all the wading stuff.
The stacks are from the Tank Workshop and are a real pain due to the huge casting blocks! Also, the upper and lower stacks are slightly different in size. Putty will be my friend.
The canvas covers are from resicast and a real joy. Unfortunately I damaged the the mantlet cover a bit when removing the casting blocks. Don't know if I can repair that and how to do it...
Thanks for looking.

Wading stacks attached.
When I compare these from the Tank Workshop to the ones from Resicast that I used on Balaclava, the former are utter junk. I had to use lots of putty on the TWS stacks to make them half decent. The molds on some of the smaller parts were horrible. I made the attachment joints myself rather the using the crap ones from TWS. in the end, recommended. The Resicast ones however, really recommended!
Thanks for looking!

Hey guys,
What's everyone doing? Seems like some time since anyone posted some more in progress pics. I see a lot of armor is still in progress.
The campaign is almost running to an end, can't believe it's almost a year ago since I started it. Time indeed flies.
Would anyone be interested in a part 2? 6/6/2013 till 6/6/2014?
Let me know!
Thanks all for participating and I hope to see some more great stuff before June 6th.

Here is my in process photos.
The tracks are too long.
Does anyone have a suggestion on shrinking the tracks without cutting out a link. I'm not sure if I can cut off the idler and move it back.
Thanks,
Tom

Given that I failed to start my BARV, I'd be up for Part 2! Besides, it'd end on the 70th anniversary...

Dave,
Thank you for this link. I just wish I had known about it before I did this model.
However, he skipped my problem by going with individual links instead of the glueable dragon tracks. I may have to go that direction.
Thanks again for your help.

Dave-----A very sharp looking Sherman you have there. Shading is really well done on the finish.
Best wishes, Ian
