Looking nice there Jeff. You did a better job than I putting the AB41 together, I needed some putty to get the seams out.
MiniFlea, the Matilda is looking good!
Torsten, you finished the 262 already, you guys are just moving fast! Wish I had more time for modeling.
Charles, what a interesting build you are planning to do. Thanks for the article link too. I looked at Wespe models before, but the kit prices kinda kept me away.
My Protze is actually done, just need to take some pictures and start looking at at vignette setting.

Jeff - coming along nicely. Dry fitting seems to be a good rule to live by.
I've got transfers on my panzer iii and a gloss coat down. Getting the weathering next. Also have a tank commander peeking out of the hatch and orientation of my diorama elements figured out now. Been busy to do too much yet still so pics to follow later.

Everyone's builds comin on really well. That Bailey Bridge is going to be really interesting to see Charles!
Underside done in RLM76 over preshaded black panel lines. Not being too fussy about the paint job (apart from the masked yellow fuselage band and underside of the engine cowl as it's eventually gonna get the all over winter whitewash. I also made up some replacement cannons from 2 sizes of hypodermic needle. Wee bit better than the kit efforts. Will also eventually do the pitot.

Zon, No sweat Bud,I figured it out.
Greg, Keep plugging away,I look forward to seeing some pics.
Pete,Nice work on the preshade. Most of the time I end up putting too much paint on and it all goes away I'm finishing up a build for the King Campaign, and should be able to put some real time in on the AB41 soon.Jeff T.

Torsten, Two nights? Really? Holy spit Man,do you have a chapter of the Wee Workers Guild come in and keep working after you go to bed? That's fast.Jeff T.
Jeff, I was asked that also on Aeroscale recently after showing 2 aircrafts in a month and I answered, yes I have some dwarfs on my workbench who love to work nightshift .... No, of course I haven't. There's no secret about it, it's just that I try to work 1-2 hours every evening when I'm back from work. Only this way you get the work done in an appropriate time frame. I would hate to sit months over 1 kit. Usually it takes me 4-6 weeks to build 1-2 aircraft, depends on how difficult it is and how many parts it has, e.g. for my Eurofighter, which consists of 240 parts, I needed 7 weeks.
Well, this nice little kit is almost done To get this far it took me 6 days, which is speed building even for me .... Now, after a break for christmas, there will follow some Future and the few decals.
Merry christmas everyone!

Pete: Nice work on the 190. The pre-shade came out well, as did the replacement gun.
Torsten: with your speed we should see at least two more builds from you this campaign! Good work.
I received my Eduard masking set for the P-40 in the mail yesterday so I should be back at it this week.
Happy Modeling, - zon

Good to see you at it Pete, nice panel shading
Torsten - fantastic progress again. The M20 is one I haven't seen completed much in 1/48, so look forward to more
Here's my slow progress - just some transfers, gloss coat, and dust washing. The tank will be approaching from left to right. I got the commander poking his head out. The Russian Sgt waiting for the right moment to wave in the flamethrower engineer, or will the German commander see him first...

Well I got 4 out of 5 of these guys put together with the only trouble being I think I smashed in part of a helmet and broke the end of a Machine Gun. The helmet looks like I can push it back into shape and the MG I replaced with a Tamiya end. Overall these dudes are awesome!

Those figures do look sweet, and nice save on the MG.
Don't worry about the dented helmet, just put it on the flamethrower guy,He won't care
Happy Holidays,Gents.Jeff T.

the pattern is based on actual photos provided generously by a fellow modeler, i thought a little mud would be appropriate on the lower hull but light weathering otherwise,i still have to work out the gear stowage before i weather.
happy holidays!

I have made some progress also. All the dry fitting paid off when I went to put together the hull.It still took Me a while to get things the way I wanted, but it turned out O.K.
As you can see, there where a few places that where troublesome, but I took my time, taped things in place till the glue started to set,and then kept filling the seams in with Tamiya Extra-Thin Cement. After a while they just welded themselves together. There where only 2-3 places that would not fill,so I used some stretched sprue to fill them in.
Here it is primed, not too bad
Also put some grab handles on the Turret
That's all for now,Model on,Jeff T.

I’m going to build a KV-1 “Small Turret” OOB. Kit looks good with a bit of PE thrown in.

Got the all over whitewash done. Doesn't look white here, but IS white. I tweaked the colour balance of the pic to bring out the subtle tonal differences tht I can see with the naked eye, but never manage to photograph properly. The masking has lifted the yellow band a bit so I'll have to try and touch that up.

Jeff - the AB is looking seriously good. I like the nuts and bolts on that kit. Good idea to add the grab handles
John - looks good, dive into it
Pete - The whitewash is nice and cloudy. I hate when paint tape takes the paint with it.
Happy New Years everybody

Jeff S... Did you find anything in your stash yet?Jeff T.
Yes Jeff I finally did, but Greg needs to approve it first.
How 'bout a 1/48 kit of the V-2? I could always build an armor kit, or another wingy-thing... but this somehow is calling me out to build it.
I'll need to find a unique paint scheme for it, maybe the classic black n white?
~ Jeff
