suggestions are most welcome.
Jeff i really like the armored jeep!is the v-2 and jeep going into a dio?

Hi Chris! Looks really good. Lots of neat stuff going on in the scene. The figures work well.

Here's where I'm at on the Stalingrad dio. I still need a few touch ups on the tank and figures. Started putting some color to the base and getting all the pipes, barrels, and boxes going. I wonder if I'll finish in time...still gotta paint my house too when the weather is right

Maybe I should make the wall bricks a dark brown to help the grey panzer stand out better, hmmm

Greg that's really shaping up nicely! i think on the brick i would just try a dark wash with dry brushing but that's just me ,a brick color would work as well.
those figures sure are nice i can't remember if you where going to have the tank commander slumped over in the turret hatch or if the crew was gonna put up a fight but whatever you come up with is going to photo real nice with those walls as a backdrop.
all in all great job! looking forward to seeing where this goes.
happy modeling.

You guys and these dioramas!

Chris, I really the walking GI Joes, those are neat and just a sweet looking dio! I just happen to have the JEEP drying on the bench and it's from another Campaign and is 1/24. Someday I'd like to do a dio, but I must make some special room for it.

Greg, what can I say but another great looking dio my friend!

Gentlemen! As always there is some really impressive work in this campaign!

Chris, I like that dio of yours. Great work. The only thing I don't think fits is the fact that the guy right in front of the tank is walking quite casually, while the guy in the cemetery seem to be under fire.

Greg, really like the way your dio is turning out. Looks like another winner!

Unfortunately I won't be able to do a Dio, but I have come back to the Demag and painted it. This is a first for me as I will be trying out the hairspray technique. The idea is to make this a well used Demag that was used on the eastern front and then sloppily oversprayed in yellow, gree and brown before transfer to the west. Now it's well used and abandoned. At least it will be once I get to the Dio... So, current state before I do the chipping:

Cheers!
Stefan

Beautiful work on the diorama, Greg. Looking forward to see more.

I have made some progress on my FW 190. The cockpit glazing needs to go on and then it is ready for painting.

More to follow

Chris - that's an awesome looking diorama there. I love the story its telling with the guys in the graveyard checking for any trouble.

Greg - loving yours too. My only suggestion would be to dirty up that Panzer a little. Its a bit too clean for my liking, especially for one that's fought all the way to the Volga

Meanwhile, my Viper is progressing towards a finish. I've touched up the dark grey overspray, gloss coat, added the decals, and now started the wash. I don't normally go for heavy washes on aircraft normally, but pictures show these Navy aggressors to be really tatty (must be being sat in the desert sun all summer, and the snow all winter up on the Sierra Nevada).

And the unwashed side

To One and All,
Well, I have run into a drastic case of "modelers block" on my project dragging on from 1/48 v.2. So, last night I started on a fresh kit, the Tamiya 1/48 jagdpanther. Here is the sprueshot. I will post some progress shots as I move along.

Thanks,
Minas-Ithil

Thanks for the good words fellas. Stefan i think you're right about the bar guy and am in the process of working up a replacement.as for your demag it's looking real good and the interior in itself could be a small dio.
Neil that camo is excellent!you fixed up your lines perfect.

Chris------Great diorama. The camo'ed Sherman really makes a nice centerpiece for the presentation.

Greg----Awesome progress on your dio as well. The damaged factory setting is a massive undertaking indeed.

Jesper-----Sweet looking -190 Butcher Bird!!!

Stefan----Nice Demag and looking forward to the weathering and the chip job!

Neil-----The -16 is absolutely beautiful. I love Aggressor birds and you really nailed the camo scheme on that one.

Hopefully I will have a Harrier update this week after I get the chaff buckets scratchbuilt.

Best wishes, Ian

Thanks for the comment on my butcher bird, Ian.

Neil, that is a great looking F-16 adversary. Beautiful job on the camouflage and matching up the decals with the camouflage.

Stefan----Nice Demag and looking forward to the weathering and the chip job!

Thanks, Ian. Unfortunately yesterday disaster struck when I wanted to wash off the chips. It didn't wash off the top layer but I managed to scrath it to the bare plastic in some places! Argh! Well, since I really wasn't convinced about the camo scheme, I decided to strip her and start afresh. Now I know that windex is perfect for removing Tamiya Acrylics... I only knocked off three PE parts in the process. Back to the paint booth!

Cheers!

Thanks for the comments everyone. My macbook pro died so I have to bite the bullet and fork out $210 to hopefully get it fixed. I will prob be without 1-2 weeks and I don't type well on these phones. Keep up the great work everyone.

Finally got the canopy frames painted and am ready to call this one done.

I enjoyed this campaign enough that I went out and bought the Seafire II.

Cool spitfire, Cam. Very nice build.

I have finished the camouflage on the Fw 190. Next is the painting of the details followed by the decals.

More to follow.

I have some quite time so in thought i'd put up some pics of my firefly conversion.
i used the m 4 that i cannibalized for my 105 church dio as a scratch project to try to get some more practice.
also a couple GI replacement figs i'm working up to correct my a little to actiony bar gunner in the cemetary.
hope things are going well for everyone.
