Not going to finish in time, but wanted to let you all know I have been greatly impressed by the builds. Thanks for the inspiration and will post another photo or two once I have the Achilles painted. Construction is almost complete...

Hey Everybody, My horse didn't get out the gate on this one.
Sal, Nice finish! The Grant looks good.
Pedro, Your Firefly is ridiculously anal retentive. I love it!
Ian, Another piece you can be proud of!
Rick and Kevin, Y'alls Churchills are outstanding. Beautiful work! Rick, I was in love with yours before you weathered it.
Delbert, The Achilles looks great!! Great idea for the camo!

Howdy Everyone..
There has been a great deal of work going on here and I love all the different kits and ideas that have been going on.
Once again I'll say excellent work everyone, and I'll say the people are what make a build fun. I've also learned a few things and I hope it shows that I've improved my skills a bit..
I've finished up my bit a whole day early.. I can still see a few bits here and there I need to tweak, but I'm going to call it finished or else I'll be up all night..
later
Delbert
P.S. Pics are in the campaign gallery

I put this off to finish the Canadian Forces campaign and then before I knew it the deadline loomed!
I have finished the staghound now with an hour to spare.
Eventually the Staghound will be mounted on this base with US paratroopers and Canadian Armoured Car crew.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to upload a photo onto the campaign gallery... again... Until then Happy New Year everyone

Thanks John. I'm still struggling to figure out how to compress my photo to fit in the gallery. Windows 8 isn't the easiest to figure this out. I appreciate you taking the time to check the forum.
Cheers

IrishGreek I'm sure yours will be better, after all you can see my mistakes.. LOL
I just used one of the kit supplied decals.
listed as
21st Anti-Tank Regiment Royal Artillery, Guards Armoured Division, Tank Destroyer Battalion Netherlands 1944
I mainly picked it because I wanted to try something besides the basic OD green most of the others were.. and it did turn out cool I think.

Delbert,
Thanks. And yes, the paint scheme is really cool and you did a great job on it. I don't feel that adventurous! I am going OD and doing a Canadian one, but away from my build desk at the moment and don't remember the exact unit.
And you are being too kind. You did a fab job and I really look at yours as fantastic! I do think we are all our own worst critics.

Hello all,
First off happy 2014 to you all. I hope everyone is in good health. And the model santa was good to you all.
I am sorry for such a delay in response and lack of communication, as some of you know I recently came back from afghanistan, and as a result has led to some unfavorable outcomes in my family life. But no excuse I will be awarding everyone who participated in the great commonwealth thunder campagin there ribbions shortly. I hope you all enjoyed my idea for the campaign and learned some things from each other and carry on our great hobby. Once again I apologize. And I'll see you on the forums.
Respectfully
Thunder.

Well, I am calling here finished. Thanks for letting me participate. I had a really good time seeing all your builds and they really helped me!
She is marked as a tank from the 5th Cnd Armd Div, 4th AT Rgmt. The serial is fictional, but probably close. Hard to get a Serial if it isnt Caribou or Chippawa and those are not even 100% I don't think.
Here are a couple walk-arounds...
