I've done a ribbon for the campaign but have absolutely no idea how to reduce it to the right size. Anyone got any ideas how to do it? Sorry for being a bit thick lol

Joe that's a lovely build. Really different cam as well which looks really effective both at scale and I would imagine in the field. I've not set a gallery up as yet as a) I forgot to do it (b) I'm not altogether sure how to do it or do the ribbon. I need help. Literally

Karl,
Sorry to be late responding--have been out of the fight for awhile on a family emergency.
To size the ribbon, simply open it in Microsoft Paint and use the resize command to reduce it to 20 x 50 pixels. Make sure you turn off the option to maintain the aspect ratio or else it will prevent you from getting the right dimensions.

Karl, for the gallery I believe campaigns admin John Pereira aka Nito74 sets this up. You may want to drop him a PM.
Mark, glad to see you back. Hope all is well.

Hello,
I better get started on this:
Initially had second thoughts after reading through the PE work required. Actually there's this one, all-PE box cum frame that needs to be built -- all that bending and twisting sure looked intimidating.
Googled around and came across Bill Plunk's build log -- read that the box is not required for a 250/1 -- what a relief!
Well there's still some amount of PE work left, but with that major one out of the way, and a complete build log as reference, I'd say it's good-to-go! In-progress pics to follow.
Cheers,
Tat

This THREAD is in the wrong area!!! It should not be in DIORAMA'S..it should be in Campaigns.
Can a MOD move this entire thread to the campaign forum???? I need to post update pix but this is hard to find since it is in the wrong location.

Thx, the instructions can be complex on Dragon's but fit issues on this one are kinda a pain lol
This one has options that can be confusing...see the chair in the first picture? There are 3 options for it. Makes the instruction sheet seem to be all over the place.

Nice job so far. I have always wanted to build this version and then update the variant to the last model that had the one piece hood, etc.

Dustin,
I'm sorry, I forgot, what brand kit is that? Box looks like AFV Club? Looks pretty good. What are your thoughts on the kit/brand?
Thx JoeP

Joe,
It's an AFV Club kit. It's a very nice kit with lots of detail. I did have an issue with the top of the body? Or hull. Whatever it's called. It seemed to be warped, but it could have been an issue in my end. Nothing that some putty couldn't fix. All in all I really liked the build.

Mark, Tat thanks for the info. I'll get on it over the next couple of days. Sorry I've not been about for a bit. Ill health and the black dog came visiting so haven't really checked in much. Some nice stuff coming together.

How likely is it that one of these could have worn a white wash?
