The SINCGARS are coming along nicely. Good job on them so far.
The M1068 APU is complete and shipped yesterday. I should get it tomorrow. I'll let you know how it turned out.

The APU sells for $17.13. My 1/35 line ranges from $7.92 to $17.13 excluding the track sets.

Looks good. Can I use it as a product picture?
And I've also finished the LVOSS Arming/Firing Unit boxes.

Mike
Are the cooling fins on the sides of the SINCGARS base rack printable or too fine for digital print work?
If too fine I think personally, I would prefer to see larger/fewer fins than no fins at all.
Just my two cents . . .
p.s. The APU looks GREAT! - Makes me want to go out and build a command 113 (M1068) just to use your part!

I'm not sure if the fins are printable or not. They are definitely model-able. After you asked, I modeled in the fins as best I could.
The LVOSS control units and M17 periscopes are all available in the shop now.

Mike, I just had a look over at Shapeways. Your stuff is pretty much essential to all of my builds. That is some great work. I am going to have to buy a couple of things right off the bat. Your LVOSS controller looks great. Now I just need to get a good overall shot of that support for the HMMWV gun ring. When I get your stuff I will review it for Armorama. I think I can do it the justice it deserves. Did you add the handset to any of your VIC intercom systems? I didn't look that close. Keep up the good work.
Regards,
Eric

Eric, no there are no handsets in the VIC systems.I'm working on a review of the VIC/3 set. I already have installed it in a Buffalo and will be installing it an M3A3 Bradley.
Mike, maybe you might want to think about adding hand sets or making a hand set set.

No, none of the VIC sets have handsets. For the -3 and -5, Yaroslav of Live Resin makes a set that includes a handset. If you'd like, I can try making a separate set of handsets. To add handsets to the VIC models would mean the printing success rate on the model would reset and then the models would have to be reinspected. So they could then be possibly rejected.

Michael, I agree with Pete. A separate set of handsets would work best. I get that changing a model is more work than making a new one.

Eric

Not worth it. You would still have to make decal markings for each of them. These are much better printed on paper. If you are having issues folding them, get some balsa wood and cut boxes to wrap them around.

Hi Mike,
Another idea, but might not have much following: the running gear (tracks, sprockets, idlers/wheels) of the T95 US experimental tank series from the late 1950's. The running gear is likely the biggest deterrent to scratch-building, but there are so many T95 variants to scratch. I have a number of detailed photographs of the T95E2 on display at Fort McCoy, WI if you would be interested. Probably not much interest in the T95s, though...

Gino, this is just the very beginning of the set. Ill be adding more small handsets/radios into it. Each item will probably be included 5 times.
Matt, send me some pictures of the running gear I should be able to do it.

Unfortunately, the next few days for me are going to be very busy with homework, company open houses, debates and various appointments so I won't be able to do too much on the handsets model. But, on the good side, the model for the superstructure of the T110E3/E4 finished printing so I'll be able to pick it up tomorrow. And as soon as the bank transfer goes through, Shapeways will start printing the gun and mantlet of the model as well.
