Ardennes 1944 - Ridin High!

The first two figures are ready now. Continuing with my motorcycle. I Have to mention, that I had a choice of 2 different heads for the orderly. One with cap and one without. In the end I chose the one with cap. Since I wanted to represent a complete a model as could be, I added the cables from the steering bar to the engine and the front brake and the clutch with very thin sowing thread. And I paid a lot of attention to the bags to make them look as realistic as possible. Painting the wheels gave me some problems because I had difficulty reaching them since I had already sprayed the entire model. I had to do this twice with the risk of over-spraying the wheels.

Once the motorcyclist was all done I turned to the Schwimmwagen. How do you dress it up? I took out an old Verlinden catalogue (part one I think) and made a nice copy of it, along with some extra items of my own like a newspaper and a map and some other stuff. I didn’t add any unit markings on purpose, because I didn’t have any at hand.
