Mike,Eric and Alan,
Thanks as always guys for checking in on this endless topic. I am trying my best to"bring it home" as it were.
I had to figure out a sequence of hooking up the various chains used in the harness to facilitate backing up when it was called for. The wheel horses were used for this. So I will place the off side wheel horse on the groundwork first, then the limber, then the ridden wheelhorse. It may seem obvious to most but this took my addled brain more than a little time to figure out!
Have a look

Hello Jerry,
Been busy of late but still been checking in. It's all coming together really well and will I'm sure be stunning once done.
Incidentally, amongst the Jeeps and GMCs in Normandy for the anniversary period was a horse drawn wagon and a "Gulaschkanone". Saw a tour bus get a bit close to the latter and was immediately reminded of your diorama...
Anyway, keep it up. Almost there
Sean

Thanks Sean for the nice story and the kind words. I am trying not to rush the end. I spent so much time on it now that I want to make sure it all looks as good as it can.

Jerry the tree looks really good, if one was super picky, suuuuuuper picky it might be a little big at the base for its height as those tend to shoot up pretty quick. Honestly you nailed it though. Are the leaves PE or paper? Love the updates, keep them coming, great motivation to get my butt in gear!

Brilliant work on the sign and the scattered personal items- plus the tree looks damn good. The FJ figure is coming along really nicely too- the hair and uniform details are excellent.

Wow! Thanx for the comments as always. I always want to make sure I respond to everyone so here goes. It is not a chore as I love when people comment. The drawback to me has always been my two finger typing method!
Kimmo-thanks for checking in buddy!
Eric- I see what you mean and may be able to bend the lower branches up? The leaves are paper from Kamikazuki(hopefully spelled correctly) Get on it man!! Get to work! Marsch marsch
Alan-I have seen some nice new releases in the WWI area so isn't it time to get on it? Hint hint?
Kobus-Nice to see an Afikann modeler here and thanks for the comments. We have a regular guest at our house that hails from Kenya. We lave him dearly and wish he would be our son-in -law but...the parents don't control this any more!! LOL
Paul-patience patience. The good news is I finally have a guy that is willing to pay for the masters for the 18/40 limber!!
Karl-thanks as always my faithful poster. I always look forward to your insite and prose and am happy that you have begun a new project yourself.
Thanks guys for taking the time to comment! And thanks to the lurkers that have pushed this humble build to over 130,000 hits!
Holy crap,you guys are awesome!

Hi Jerry, you'd have to change the towing arm on the limber which could be done and have a team of 12 horses!
I do have the 18pdr and limber to build and that is one I'd like to be horse drawn and there is also the GS Wagon. Steps are in hand.
Cheers
