Guys, I forgot to make a picture of an unstarted kit, was too much eager to begin. But really did it on last Friday. Is it now too late to participate with it?
The item is quite unusual by the way

Post a photo of your build as is with the current date and I'll look it over and decide if it's ok.

Here are the pictures. There are not so many details in the kit, so it is around 40% assembled.

Hello eveeryone

I am really looking forward to participating in this campaign which has in my opinion one of the most interesting topics I've ever seen on this site.

I started building a German Panzerspähwagen Kfz 13 from the beginning of the 1930's tonight. The kit is made by Bronco.

The kit has several photo-etched brass parts, that needs to be bend into the right shape. I haven't tried that before, so it seems quite scary to me :-) Here is my first attempt, the chair for the gunner.

Dmitry: No problem, and thanks for asking first. Make sure you paint that up nice

Occam: Thank BigSmitty for the idea, I liked it so much I stepped in to move it forward when he had to take a leave of absence from here
That looks like a nice kit, when did you start it? One of the requirements for this campaign is that you post a photo of the unstarted kit along with an item that shows the current date.

I'm not too worried about it, but just fyi this is going to be standard practice for campaigns from now thanks to people who have abused the system and entered kits that they had already partially built and claimed that they started them during the campaign. It's always the few people like them that make life more challenging for everyone else.

I like the plastic your kit is molded in, it looks really easy to work with, and the PE doesn't look to bad either. Remember that if a piece is too small or too difficult to fold into shape then just leave it off and don't worry about it.

I decided to refresh the campaign a bit.

The model is assembled, primed and base painted. Currently it is already almost finished and I'm thinking of making a base for it.

That thing definitely deserves a base! Makes sure you weather it nicely too to give it that "real" look

Holy Mackarel! That chain detail in 1/72 is crazy!
Really nice kit. Great work.

Thank you for support guys! Unfortunately I'm afraid that finalizing the project will take some time as I'm quite busy currently. And I don't want to show the model as it is now. I'd rather not to spoil the effect of showing it in all its beauty)))

Well I’ve decided to change my build from Commander Model M2 Combat Car to Pit Road’s Type 92 Heavy Armored Car. I’m still waiting for my interior update to arrive for the M2, so I wanted to build something fun and quick. The type 92 is a real great kit and even comes with some photo etch part.

I'm really interested in seeing what that kit is like and will be looking forward to your build. Have you built any of the FineMolds kits?

Some great builds in this campaign guys! I'll be watching with interest! Unfortunately I have neither the time nor the kit to join...

Cheers and keep up the great work!

Thanks Jeremy, so far the kit is pretty nice with no fit issues. I did get alot done in hour on the build and will post photos tonight. The only real let down is the directions for the photo etch parts, their in japanese and they don't show were the parts need to go.
Thankfully hobby link japan has a finish unpaint model I can use for reference for the parts.

I've built one fine mold kit before, they type 97 tanket with a full interior. This kit is in the same lines of quality as fine mold and even comes with that not so great figure.

Hello,
Brand new member, and modeler. The interwar years are my favorite time period and may I join this campaign?
I would like to construct this 7TP as the Vickers Armstrong British prototype...

Here is some progress I’ve made on the build so far. Very simple build with just a few parts. I still need to add some of the photo etch parts, but I’m not going to use them all. The figure is from grenadier, there is also an infantry soldier that will be riding on top. This set really caught my eye since they both have gas mask canister and hoses on their backs. Nice item to depict early war in china, might even add a soldier running along side the tank.
