hello,
Here is the kit I will do in the months to come. Hotchkiss H35 tank, the model is almost as old as Heller I, the details are not quite the current standard. but I love this model.

Hello!
I've made my mind and this is what I picked up yesterday:
Heller Renault R35, decals for tanks in polish service and brand new monograph from Militaria.
I wonder if Modelkasten tracks are available anywhere, it seems they are sold out in every shop I can think of.

hellos
here are my progress. Despite the age of the model that this goes rather easily though it lacks in depth. Your comments are welcome.

Bruce: Excellent, hopefully if things go well on my end I can start getting things posted myself.
Jaroslaw: You guys are making me seriously consider the Bronco version of those little French tanks. I don't know about the Modelkasten tracks, but I've been having a difficult time finding Modelkasten tracks for a number of projects I wish to pursue.
Steph: Looking good!

good evening,
thank you. I will track the original kit, because their replacement will be too expensive. I just hope not to miss painting.

Steph: nice, clean work! And pretty fast too!
That's my progress after one evening:
And since I have some exams to pass this weekend I don't think I will manage to do much more this week.
Are your suspension glued? Or will youo glue it after painting?
Jeremy, go for it! I think Bronco Hotchkiss is wonderful kit with its interior. It is on my to do list! And maybe if we buy enough of this kit Bronco will make us brand new pretty Renault and SOMUA kits!
As for Modelkasten tracks for my R35 only shops wich seems to have them are in the USA, althought I'm not sure they have them really in stock.
For example: RZM.com
It means I would have to pay around 45$ for a set with shipping. It's way too much so I took shortcut and ordered Hobbyboss tracks for Hotchkiss. They are not exactly the same but similar to R35 tracks. And cost here in Poland only around 8$!
And guess what
Yes! Heller gives Hotchkiss tracks for Renault!
So they are not only ugly but also inaccurate.

Steph: I think you'll do well with the tracking and painting. You seem to work at a very fast speed compared to others.
Jaroslaw: Sounds like a plan, I'll see what I can do. Nice job on finding those replacement tracks at an affordable price
Burak: Nice choice! Don't forget to post a photo of the unstarted kit next to a newspaper or other item with the current date.

Jeremy,
Thanks for picking up the ball on this one. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to take a few months off from just about everything and really appreciate you all getting this up and running.
Now I'm at a point where I can start up modeling once again. I can assure you I'm enlisting in this one. Just not sure what I'm building.
Matt

Looking sharp Steph, I love the colorful markings! It may not be very realistic to weather it much, but I don't know for certain.

Hi all,
I'm in with the Master Box Panzer 1A "Breda"! I opted over my Marquette T-26, T-26 Flamethrower and Vickers E kit so that I could build the Breda side-by-side with DML's Panzer 1A kit that I'll use for the "Light Tank" campaign.

Steph, nice vibrant colors with that camo, it looks real good. What or how did you make your base
I pulled my kit out of the stash but haven't started it yet, I may get to it sometime early next week

Ok guys my time table was a little off,I started this morning. Dragons 1/35 Sd.Kfz265 kleine Panzerbefelswagen
2 Spruces of 108 individual link tracks that are held on in 5 spots. Is this really necessary for these little buggers Ands to make matters worse on the updated instructions Dragon doesn't tell you how many to use on each side Well I hope they give extras cause I broke about 5 or 6 already
but I did manage to get the bogies together
good thing this campaign runs a whole year

Steph: Congrats on finishing! She would have looked good even on a very small diorama base
Sal: That is a nice choice, but I agree with you about both the tracks being fiddly to work with and Dragon not specifying how many to install. You can create a post asking specifically how many track links there were per side on those early panzers, and if you don't get an answer I'll see what I can find for you.
