As promised some in-progress shots. First thing you'll notice is that I have to find a better setup for taking fotos. Possibly outdoors..
I found a few glitches myself, but constructive critism is appreciated anyway.

Yes, you want your light to be able to produce something along the lines of this:
Good natural outdoor lighting will produce this, as well as the appropriate light setup indoors. It's best to use some kind of natural daylight lightbulb for a fill light if you can. Other than that, your tankette is coming along nicely!

After fighting with the Masterbox tracks for a couple hours, I gave up and raided my DML Flakpanzer 1 for its tracks. They look really similar to each other, but the DML plastic is less brittle and the guide pins are a MUST for me with these tiny tracks.
I thought I would have less trouble since I also build 1/700 ships, but those are more ridiculous than cutting and re-attaching arms on 1/700 sailors.)
Also the allignment ended up being off, so I had to reposition the drive sprocket to line up with the wheels.
Almost to the painting stages!

Steve: I have a lot of difficulty working with 1/700 ships, I can only imagine what the tracks were like if they were that bad. Looks like you got everything to line up for the most part?
Jens: Fighting with Friul? What are you having difficulty with?

Jeremy: First, it's a lot of labor cleaning the links so that they will move freely later. Next, I have difficulties inserting the copper wire all through the links. I have re-drilled the bore though..

Ok glad to hear it Jens, I was going to say that they shouldn't be that much of a problem
That said, I did have one set for a BT-7 that had a lot of flash on it, but that is highly unusual from what I've personally seen in Friul sets.

Very nice Irvin, you really pulled off the single-tone paint scheme as you finished off your build! I hope you had a great Christmas as well

Agreed Irvin! Very nice! Looks like you have been knocking off a bunch of campaigns lately - I'm jealous! My stash and free time wishes I would be able to produce as fast and half as well as you!
Speaking of my lack of production, here is what I did to my little Breda with the paint job. I am horrified! I'm going to warm up the old airbrush tomorrow and try to fix her up.

Umm, Steve, why did you choose green as base color? shouldn't it be the typical german panzer grey?
Edit: I stand corrected. I found a reference that says green. You are right.

Thanks! the kit had been sitting on the shelf more years then i want to remember. This campaign gave me the nudge to finish it. It was fun but the tracks were a headache.

Jeremy - Yeah, I need to warm up the airbrush and get better at it.
Jens - I referred to the Bison Decal sheet, and other references. Am I wrong? http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/bison/bd35018.htm
Irvin - Trying for the Spanish Civil War, but it looks bad so far.

Steve,
Try a wash over the whole tank to tone down the colors and blend them together.

Steve, you are right. I am sorry for causing confusion. There were indeed green "Bredas". I have now found two sources saying the same. I was mislead because I am working on a standard Pz1A showing a grey base color. I thought Bredas must be the same color, which is wrong. So, go on.

Steve: Awesome, remember light coats! And Irvin is right about toning it down when you are done with the main colors. A light misting of Buff works well for this, but a wash applied by brush will certainly take care of it as well.
Nathan: Well done! How did you like the kit? That's a very bright flash by the way, I almost didn't pick up on the camo scheme

Jeremy - The tracks and suspension were a real chore on the kit, otherwise it was a fun build. Sorry about the bad photo.
