Hello Sal,
Is you build about same as the Dragon Pz 1? If so I have the kit and I think it has the number of tracks for both sides for the "major tracks " for it. It you want I can dig it out and see what it says.
Let me know,
Cheers,
Bruce
P.S.
I have the Rolls Royce Pattern 1921 A/C and I and thinking about making a smalling Dio about the patrolling the front in either the Trans-Jordan area or along the Egypt Board along either Libya with a unit of the Royal army.
I am not sure what the R.A. used to patrolled along the Libya IE: Trucks/ A/C / Jeeps ETC. But I will be researching it for the next few days/ weeks.
Any Help is gratefully welcome,
Cheers,
Bruce

Bruce that's a great idea Why didn't I think of that I just pulled mine out of that stash and it says 87 links of Magic Tracks which is a good thing considering how many I broke The box art shows 96 links, not that you can go buy that but I would guess it will be some where between the 2 numbers I made some more progress on the lower and upper hull photos will come later

Sal, if you end up needing more links I believe that MB and Modelkasten sell track sets in styrene. The Modelkasten ones are getting harder to find and are a little pricey, but you can probably score a box of the MB ones for about $5 USD.

Thanks Jeremy I was wondering if anybody sold AM tracks for this little guy, the on line shop I order from didn't have any I was getting ready to call Dragon care cause I broke about a dozen more this morning. New snipers, exacto blade, even tried a different sequence of cutting them off but the edge pieces keep braking off

A few thoughts for you then Sal,
1) I don't know what sprue cutters you are using, but you may want to invest in a set of Xuron sprue cutters. I use the basic model and it's been a night and day difference. Not only do they cut better, but they are so much easier on your hands. I can cut parts for hours without getting a hand cramp. You should be able to get some from Sprue Brothers or Steven's International.
2) If I remember correctly, both the MB and Modelkasten tracks are on sprue trees similar to what you have in your kit. I think that the Modelkasten tracks are probably more durable, but I don't know for certain and you may still have the problem due to the size.
3) Dragon has actually come out with a set of MagicTrack for the Panzer I variants that they include in their newer kits. I wouldn't think that it would be unreasonable for you to request a set of those as a replacement given your circumstances. You should be able to just take them right out of the bag and glue them on without any cleanup.

Steph: Very nice little vignette! Good work! Looks suitably dusty. I have a soft spot for Hotchkisses (and Renaults and SOMUAs )
Sal:
Nice clean work! Good luck with the tracks!
I made very little progress due to exams I had lately. But everything is passed for now so hopefully I'll fing more time for my Renault in th next days.
Here's how it looks now and it's new shoes.

Ok guys Bruce helped me out big time here and sent me the Magic Tracks for this little guy, Thanks again Bruce So here is what it was looking like tonight
I completed the building part and have come to the conclusion that even with the Magic Tracks there is no reason for me to build another 1 of these tanks So if anybody want to buy/trade for my Dragon PzI Auf A. with interior, Smart Kit #6356 just PM me
It was primed a few hours ago and I hope to get some paint on it tomorrow

Nice work both of you! I'm glad those tracks are working out so well for you Sal
I'm still not sure what I want to build, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing me attempt a build of Dragon's 1/72 Neubau-Fahrzeug Nr.3-5?

I have a Tauro Models Fiat 3000 Mod. 21 Ia just waiting to be built. I've always enjoyed the look of early armor. The Fiat 3000 Mod. 21 has a significant place in armor history during the interwar period.

Hi Folks!
I'm joining this campaign and my entry will be the 1/72 Vickers 'E' Mk. B Tank kit made by Mirage.
Here's the Sprue/Parts Shot:
Lots of itty-bitty pieces...I'll be modeling the Chinese (Kuomintang)tank version that defended Shanghai in 1937.
As of tonight, I've assembled the upper and lower hull. But I lost the Muffler/Exhaust to the Floor Monster and will have to scratch-build a replacement.

Hi,
I want to build a OT-130 Chemical Tank..
Mirage Hobby, box number : 72615
a short information : (from Wikipedia)
Flame-throwing tanks formed around 12% of the series production of T-26 light tanks.[1] It should be mentioned that the abbreviation "OT" (Ognemetniy Tank which stands for Flame-throwing Tank) appeared only in post-war literature; these tanks were originally called "KhT" (Khimicheskiy Tank which stands for Chemical Tank), or BKhM (Boevaya Khimicheskaya Mashina; Fighting Chemical Vehicle) in the documents of 1930s. All chemical (flame-throwing) tanks based on the T-26 chassis (KhT-26, KhT-130, KhT-133) were designated BKhM-3. The vehicles were intended for area chemical contamination, smoke screens and for flame-throwing.
The TKhP-3 chemical equipment for smoke screens and chemical contamination was developed in 1932. This equipment could be easily installed on any T-26 light tank and was produced by the "Compressor" Factory, (introduced for smoke screening as the TDP-3 from summer 1934; 1,503 such sets were produced to the end of 1936).[1]
KhT-26 (OT-26) — Flamethrower variant developed in 1933. Based on the twin-turreted T-26 mod. 1931 tank but using a single turret armed with a flamethrower, the second turret was removed.
KhT-130 (OT-130) — Flamethrower variant of model 1933, using a larger 45 mm gun turret (a gun was replaced with a flamethrower).
KhT-133 (OT-133) — Flamethrower variant of model 1939 (a gun was replaced with a flamethrower).
KhT-134 (OT-134) — Flamethrower variant of model 1939, with 45 mm gun.

Greeting all!
I just finished the Technical Campaign and now have an opening to join another campaign. Before I enlist in this one I have a question for Campaign Leader Jeremy H.. One of the campaign requirements is to provide a datable image prior to starting. Will the following image suffice as verification for those purposes.
The Neubau-Fahrzeug Review was just posted yesterday. In the image I've pointed out the working dates of the review near the top of the picture and the creation date of one of the sprue shots (yellow border). IF this is acceptable then I'll enlist.
Cheers,
Jan

Okay Jeremy, I've enlisted! ;-) I read quite a bit about these beasts in an old AFV News from the '70's and I'm leaning towards the second image from the top in the painting instructions. It's the #10 "Jumbo" vehicle with the memorial inscription to a lost crew member on the main turret.
BTW, how far along are you? There's a few quirks about this kit and I think that I covered most of them in the review. I also think that this kit has the smallest plastic parts that I've ever seen on a Dragon kit. Parts A28/A29 are nearing microscopic in size. I know that for some the review images are rather small so if you need any enlargements of things, just let me know. Here's a picture of the part sitting on a penny so others can appreciate it's size (US & Canadian pennies are identical in size at 3/4" or19 mm).
Cheers,
Jan
