Right, I've had a bit of an accident today. My car ended up up-side-down in a field. I'm fine but I'll be dropping all campaigns. I'll also need to find someone to take over my 'Replacement!' campaign.
I'll still pop in on a couple campaigns but as far as I know right now I haven't got money to be spending on plastic tanks.
Chris, really sorry to hear that. Glad that you're ok. Plastic modeling is just a hobby. When your financially comfortable to do so, you will.
Was the car a total wright off?

Chris,
Oh man, sorry to hear that! Take care of yourself, the models will take care of themselves.

Not sure Joel, knowing my insurance they'll probably say it's totaled though. When I got it home it wouldn't even turn over though the tow driver said it could just be because there's oil in places it shouldn't be. Considering there's oil in the field I crashed in and it was leaking out of the superchargers intake that could very well be.
What cheek! Let them have it!

If you have oil everywhere, starting most likely isn't the major issue. Cars can be replaced. People can't.

You post your build in the campaign thread. Once completed, you need to post a min of one picture in the campaign gallery.

Very nice Mike! Are they all your builds?
And... are you sure you have room for another Sherman on the shelf?

Mike,
I was thinking about doing that one as "Thunderbolt V" for the campaign. Is that what you're planning to do? Don't worry if it is, I have plenty of other options! Just don't want to duplicate if I can avoid it.

Nice choices there Mike and Michael.
I will have a "fun selection build" to go along with my choice.

No no no! I'm still not ready yet! Okay, I am getting pretty close though. My "kit" isn't finished but I have the prototype suspension pieces in the molds (after revisions) and am working on the engine bay doors. All these are into the "working block" phase or beta pieces as I call them. Had to delay the molds a bit as I am making dozens of other production molds for LSA.
Also finally tweaked the side armor profiles enough to actually fit well with the lower hull's decks. Once these and the front armor plate are all cut out then I can begin on making all the weld beads. That's my least favorite activity.

Didn't know that Sprue Brothers carried Tasca models. When did that happen?

Been working on the Tasca M32B1 since Nov. Great kit, but I'm putting it on hold so I can actually start a campaign when it starts for a change. Then I'm committed to the AA campaign with a M42 Duster. After that, I'll concentrate on finishing the M32B1. That should just about get me to next Holiday season.

Dunno. They don't have a giant selection though. I think they had 5 to choose from.

I have plenty of Shermans in my stash but most are started or at least have been opened and rifled through to rob parts for other builds so I'm going with this one which has been wedged between my computer desk and a bookshelf to stop me opening it before the start of the campaign
