A couple of things have come up and i don't think I will be finished by the 15th of August. I will keep working on the project and still post photos after the deadline if that is still allowed. I will probably need another week to finish.

Okay, to everyone who needs a bit more time past the 15th PLEASE let me know and I will give those names to John.

After the 15th I will award the ribbons and we will be finished here.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

May I get an only extended day? I'll try to finish my rally truck on Saturday, 16th. It's my resting day.
Sincerely,
K.

Hey John, where are you at on your truck?

Do you think another 2 or 3 weeks will get it? Most of my construction is finished AND all I have left is the launcher assembly... then painting. I just painted the rolling chassis so when it's dry I'll snap a few pics. Then paint the wheels!

Maybe this will give Marco the time he needs and a few of us can get healthy so we can put this in the done category!??

Well I can't work in my second project almost done, the GMC, as I pick up a flu, due the cold temps here!

Get that soldier on a Medevac! ... we need all the troops back in action ASAP!!!

Kidding aside ... hope you feel better soon, Alvaro.

Thank you Jeff and John!

Yesterday I added a bit of varnish on the painting, using Future.

Today I plan to start placing decals and next weekend I'll finish the hydraulic arm.

So, the company is back in business .

Cheers!

Don't worry Richard, it'll all be over soon when the 15th rolls around.

I will still award the ribbons as promised since there will be only a few needing the extension-extension.

Okay... just a few more to drool over you surfers you!

These are about ready for the launch tubes.

Nice thing with the PE set is they give you about 5 or 6 rockets too! In solid brass!

And, the base coat of paint is on the rolling chassis.

I may keep the wheels black (like the frame) and paint the tires, motor, etc.

Oh well, getting there fast! The sighting device is the next step right before the tubes. Nice, it's a kit all on it's own.

Jeff,
Can't wait to see all of that shiny rocket-tube brass stacked up!

Hey Mike... I just looked ahead and it may be a combination of styrene and brass. Meaning, the tubes will be brass, but the "strapping" and other "ends" may be styrene.

We'll just see when I open up the PE set and find out how hard it is to assemble. I DO have a bender, that doesn't mean anything to me. LOL

Later!
