That's looking so sweet Marco! Nice pictures!

Looks like you'll be finished before me in no time!

Thanks Jeff!

But don't forget that I won't finnish the hydraulic arm yet...

Cheers!

I have noticed that the campaign has been removed from the campaign list even though Jeff (PantherF)has kindly extended it to Sept 1. Will it be reinstated until the new end date.

Don't worry... it's just not an active Campaign anymore.

Oh, and I forgot guys... I can only award the ribbons AFTER and extension date has been reset.

So once the 1st of September rolls by they will be awarded. I wanted to give those that met the original deadline but the software won't allow that to be performed. But you WILL get them, don't worry!

Now I'm wondering if I will get one?

Thanks to the great and powerful Oz (John) he temporarily re-set the Campaign so I can give out ribbons to those that have been patient and have already loaded their images to the correct gallery... so if you feel I have goofed and not awarded yours, please shout in my ear and let me know. John will re-set it back to the new deadline.

I just thought those that HAVE been finished would like their ribbons NOW instead of waiting another 2 weeks.

Thanks John!

Well yeah my friend... where have YOU been?

We've already used up one extension and 2 deadlines.

YEP, you're right Fabian! That's why I don't have half as many ribbons as I should. Maybe even more!

It doesn't bother me at all, just having fun is all I'm in it for. Some take them WAY too seriously, even resorting to name calling. I just look back on how much money I spend for them when I could be doing something else, but hating it so.

Hope you can finish it buddy!

I hope with 2 more weeks you'll be able to finish it.
3 nice weeks of vacation are always good before being at the bench to finish up their builds

Hi guys!

No comments about all of this. For me, the most important thing is finnish our models and like them.

So, some update on my Buffalo: I added the dome antena and some new plumbing on the hydraulic arm.

Cheers guys! Peace!

Marco, some fantastic work on that hydraulic arm !
The green suits really well on the Bufallo, the dome antenna is from Voyager or did it came with the kit already ?

Okay, okay, okay. My first look inside the PE package.

What have I gotten myself into now? It's about 40 bucks worth of super gluin' is what it is! LOL Oh gesh!

And the instructions only mud up the situation too. LOL I wonder... is there another kit that needs this set?

Marco,
I like that arm. Maybe it could retrieve my GAZ from the bottom of the lake!

Looking real nice!

Or $5 worth of 'Gator's Grip Acrylic Glue.' It comes in two versions 'Original' and 'Thin Blend.' Though not a complete panacea; it allows time to work and it is water soluble. I think it could help in the case of those bright, shiny tubes.

Stay the course!

I finally have made some progress on my build, a custom Fire Tanker/Pumper.
The chassis from an AMT pumper kit has been modified to take an American Industrial Truck Mack B60 series cab and Thermodyne engine and the modified rear box of the AMT kit. The axles are modified BNL Resins Rockwell axles.

Chassis with Rockwell axles

I hope I can finish in time with one week to go.

Looks good, only thing that needs to be fixed is the connectors on the hard suction lines are mounted backwards.

Not your fault, it's wrong in the instructions, and whoever did the build for the box art got it wrong too.

Wait, that's Alice Cooper's Welcome to my Nightmare

2 drops of patience, thinned down, grab Gary's elves and it's done in less than a week..

That's it! Gary's elves! I almost forgot!

I wonder what they cost for an emergency run from Dallas?

When finished it should look like this:

But I still have the sighting device to assemble. That should keep me away from all that brass for at least a day, huh?

Jeff,
No elves but I can send in the clowns. Although, that brass may end up looking more like a trumpet when they're done!

Hi guys!

Thank you very much!

John, the dome antena is from Voyager, as all PE I used on Buffalo. And yes, I like to mix collors on my OIF kits.

Hey Mike, no way, I wouldn't mess up your fantastic work.

Jeff, I love your truck and those Voyager sets are great.

Cheers!

It will be very sad when this finally ends as you guys have been the best and very positive during the whole Campaign.

An "Extreme Trucks Campaign PT II" I think will be very successful! Maybe after Johns 8X8 Campaign is over I may think about it.

Thanks again!

Hi people!

Hey Jeff, don't be sad man. This was one of the best campaigns that I have taken part in. I saw fantastic models here. And count me in for part II.

So, some news about my Buffalo: I started the weathering, ad more details and work a little in the arm:

Those little silver things in the lower part of the truck are part of SKP set.

Cheers!
