Anthony, your Patton is looking great. The weathering looks spot on to my eyes.

Marcin, great work on your Skyhawk. The paint work and decals are very neat.

Really should do an update on my M113 now that I have some time to work more on it.

As promised a quick update on my M113.

The turret has the major parts together and the tedious job of cleaning up and assembling the wheels has been finished. Hoping to do some more work on the hull during the rest of the week before I go off on holiday.

I had planned on doing Tamiya's Patton but somewhere along the track the hull has disappeared. I picked this up cheap the other day at the local hobby shop so will endevour to get her done.

Switching my build from the S-model 1/72 Sheridan to this Italeri M106 Mortar Carrier:

The switch should allow me to meet the build deadline inspite of demands of my latest work schedule. Planning to build this kit OOB with some minor improvements.

Will consign my Sheridan to the Unfinished Business GB as I would like to do some hefty scratch-building to improve the model to a Vietnam War-era Sheridan

Managed to get quite a bit done on my Zippo still have a lot of grab handles to make, not sure if I'll scratch them all or cast them that is the first in the last pic.

Cheers Rob.

Well done Richard!

I decided that the grab handles were not coming out good enough so am using the PE ones from a Verlinden update set.

Cheers Rob.

This week's update on my Braille M106 Mortar Carrier:

- Did some scratchbuilding to make the interior look busy. I'm only doing partial scratchbuilt pieces to fill up the void that would be visible when the model is displayed.

Still working on scratchbuilding munitions tubes /containers...

Marco, Lap Man,
Very Nice!

I think I may try and use rubber band tracks for this, here they are being formed to hold their shape better.

Cheers Rob.

With the help of some spare tracks to test the water I set the formed tracks in some hot water to help them hold their shape, don't get the water too hot or the tracks will shrink. It seems to have worked well, I am going to leave them formed until I finish painting the hull.

Cheers Rob.
