I begin building M41a3 skybow,it has detail better than AFV,but it assembles easily.I use M41 Tracks of AFV for it
I start building hull,it's easiler than AFV
And wheels

[quote]hello guyq,
I finished mister Jean Réno. A really nice and complex figure I really enjoyed painting. The last bit missing is the base.
More pics on my blog.
Jérémy, yes it would be cool to make a painting tuto. I'll do that with the next 1/35 figures I'll paint?
All the best,
Julien
Bravo Julien! Superbe peinture!
Il peut être fier, Jean Reno!!
What a beauty!! Well done Julien!!
Cheers

Guten tag mein herren,
Romain, thanks a lot for your comment. Very much appreciated. I was looking for some small round glasses à la Léon, but I told myself that would be too much para style..
Stefan, I'm deeply honoured to be an inspiration for you. Your figures anatomy just looks great. The story behind sounds thrilling. Waht really helped me at the time I painted the Woodland was the fact that I bought few years before an ERDL pant in Vietnam as a souvenir. It was precious to have it in front of time when painting. I made another woodland since then, more in the right color scheme. i can send you pics if you want.
Last, the funny thing is that I do spend many time in Berlin for my work, and I had to visit Vienna much regularly recently. Great paints should meet )
Best,
Julien

Hi Julien,
thanks for your words. I try to learn from the best.
My second hobby are the big 1/6 scale Figures. I have an ERDL Uniform in 1/6 scale and will try to "copy" the camo pattern to my Figures. Your pictures would be very welcome. I will use the paints from vallejo and LifeColor for this. I switch from Enamel to Acryl some time ago and love them.
When you are visiting Berlin next time let me know and i will try to realize an meeting .
By, bye
Stefan

Yes, in 1/6 it works too, even better as it gives already a scaled idea of the real stuff.
Here you go with the navy seal I made some time ago.
Tip : apply a wash of beige once finished, it will tone down and bland the different colors together.

The ERDL camo Looks really great on this old Dragon Figure. Your tipp with the beige wash sounds very Interseting. I will give it a try at the Weekend i think.
I will add an M60 gunner too lying on ground and giveing Support fire. All Figures for the dio/Vignette are selected and now i have to paint and equip them. After that the groundwork will start.
Bye, bye
Stefan

Stefan,
Very promising figures ! One can feel the action/tension from your figures. The Hornet heads are top notch. Are they from the latest released sets ?
For the kneeling, beware, you seem to haver a hole on his right knee. And I don't know if its due the angle of the shot, but his right hand seems disproportionate. Which is quite strange for a Bravo6 figure.
The lying guy is just sensational. Did you make yourself the haircut ?
For the last figure, did you make yourself the Boonie hat ? with a mix of magic sculpt and green stuff ?
Eager to see the next steps !

Loc: Great work on the LVTP5, I'm glad you had fun painting and weathering it! Looking forward to your next build
Marcin: It's hard not to love Skyhawks! Which markings will you be using?
MSCorley: I'm glad someone finally realized that we can't have a proper Vietnam campaign without an Ontos!
Stefan: I can't wait to see those figures painted up, and in action!
Romain: That would be great! I'd very much look forard to that!
Julien: Wait, how'd he get in here!?

Thanks for your comments Pete, Jeremy and Julien. Keeps me motvated to get them finished.
Te hornet head fom the lying Figure is from set:
HH33:Bare Heads with ultra short haircuts and so i had not to sculpt the hair. Thanks to James O´Leary for showing me that head i Action.
The head of the M79 gunner is from HH36:Unkempt Heads w/Beards e.g. SAS, Chindits, LRDG etc.
These are really great and fantastic for such more Action Figures.
The kneeling Figurehas has his Original head with an Firestorm bush hat. I had to carve out the original head to get only the bush hat. Really great set with british/Australian heads with bush hat.
There is no hole in his knee (i still hope so ;-))must be the ankle of the photo. The the right arm is OK i think but the rest of the rifle is still missing. Iwill check this out again after the rifle is complete. I want this angle because he lifts the weapon from the ground in this movement and wit the left arm he stabilize his Body by putting his left Hand on an tree trunk lying in front of him. I know there is much Imagination needed by my WIP Figures. I promss you it will look right when you see them finished bevor painting.
Greeting
Stefan

Hi Stefan, how are you? I sent various email to you , on your last email address too braddock....but i havent received any answer from you......!!! By the way many congratulation for your australian group, they are vey fine indeed, i like so much the lyng down (m60 bravo6 man?), then i think that perhaps the bearded sas hornet heads are a bit bigger respect Bravo6 body.....but i know, they are fantastic....a suggestion : change teh head of the kneeling man with Firestorm boonie hat...use one old Hornet heads that are a bit little respect the new ones....i dont know in which way you have organized your little diorama.....but you could put in the middle the legend figure firing ,carring a wounded buddy......and the other that cover them......its a suggestion only, congratulation for your transformations!!
James, i love so much your figures in particular the british soldier transformed in usa nam figure...fantastic, in particular i love your way to realize the boots very usures....;i am your fan and remember your other works never ended: the group of us figure joking witha sleeping soldier on mattress.....the us gi with water buffalo....and i know you are working on a dinamic dioramas with same us figure wounded(one without hand....wounded...)fighting with vuet cong.....why you dont show us these fantstic figures also?
Many congratulation.
Mario from Italy.

Thanks Peter, yes the Bravo-6 ones are top and for me the best you can get.
Hi Mario my friend,
i am happy to hear from you. I have no ides what´s the Problem with our E-mail connection. I have tested all from another Computer and all worked fine. Also the last one i gave you is working fine. So it´s a pitty and i always enjoy our meetings. If it will not work we have to use the PM system here.
Thank you for your words and yes the newer heads are a bit larger but the facial expression fit the gab perfect for my idea. Some people have bigger heads too in reality ;-). It´s sometimes a problem that some Bravo-6 Figures are a little smaller/slim than others of the line. The same for the hornet heads. If i change now the head i have to destroy it. The head is superglued and now one objekt with the rest of the Figure. No chance of changing the head. I like this one too much to change it now. I had too the idea of using an bush hat from Firestorm ;-). I see we always have the same ideas . I also had the plan to include the two Bravo-6 SEAL Figures with the M60 gunner carying his comrade over his shoulders. I love this set but i will have to convert a lot at the standing SEAL.
I had this plan for long in my head. So there will be six Figures totally at the end for the SAS team and two VC. I wanted to include the new Bravo-6 Figure set with the RTO but it´s not yet aviable and so i will add my own RTO.
PS: check your PM Mario:
Bye, bye

Hi guys.
I joined Armorama today and decided to jump in the deep end and join in this campaign.
I think I have made a mistake though as the quality of the stuff you guys are producing is stunning.
Anyway, I hope I have created this post right as this format for threads id different to other forums I am on.
This is Italeri's 1:72 M113 A1 ACAV and I hope it's the first of a few builds.
Cheers
