Hi lots of great work here so far and I am a little late to the party but I am finally ready to start
This kit is an Italier rebox that Tamiya added to I did a review of it a few months back here
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/review/10071
I took it on a roa trip to my aunts and this iswhat I got done in the 1 day there

Hello,everybody.
This campaign looks popular with already 71 modelers enlisted !
The beginning of my humvee.
I have to cut the pins on the axles and drill a hole for putting the DEF model wheels instead of Academy one.
Tool rack from Tamiya. I add two straps with buckles built with photoetched parts.
Towing hook from Tamiya

The Chally is assembled and primered. I'll let it rest for a day or two before painting. Looking at the color issue over the net i saw that people paint it with a with a number of colors, so here is the question. Would White Ensign's Gulf Armour Light Stone be correct? And if no, which one is?

Made a start.....
more PE in this kit than any other I've done, If my patience lasts I'll try and use it all.....no promises though.

Hello everyone
I just noticed this campaign and I've signed up (I think...). I've just finished my Canadian RG-31 in Afghanistan and I'll post some picture here later tonight. Do I need to post them somewhere 'officially'? It's been awhile since I've entered a campaign and I'm unsure of the process.
cheers
Bob

Everyones stuff is looking just grand. Before I commit I would like to enter a 1/35 Tamiya Tunisian Tiger. I got the kit and started the turret but nothing else is even unbagged. I'm waiting on PE, AM decals and Fruills. Is this acceptable?

Hello,
After considering the timescales and the contents of my stash I've decided to join with a couple of braille scale builds, Trumpeters AS90 and a Dragon Challenger II, both from Operation Telic - Iraq 2003.
My campaign completion history is mixed, so we will see how we go.
Chris

Bob,
It looks nice but you'll need some pictures of the model before you started. I'm not sure if I understand but I'm taking it that your model was already being built before you joined the campaign. I haven't seen sign of Paul in a bit but maybe John can weigh-in on the matter.

Hi there all sorry for buggering off again, I had a short break at home and some other life things are getting in the way, but I hope to get really stuck in now.
Alex B thanks for stepping up again my friend, I owe you one
Benjamin, looking good there , a very nice and clean paint job, hard to believe its hand painted
Tom, lovely soldering work on the PE , this will look great under a coat of paint
Fernanda, nice progress there, just remember to take a little
more time , you'll then be rewarded with a fantastic looking build
Sal, nice choice my friend . But isn't it a little on the small side for you
Alex T., nice progress , looking forward to more.
John, the paint job is a good question . I'm going for Model Masters British Gulf war sand and lighten it up a bit .
Here's a pic of a repainted Chally 1 at Duxford, maybe this will help you a bit
Max, a fantastically clean build there looking forward to seeing more of this "floorfull" kit
Steph, lovely build my friend , you done an excellent job on the ground work and the antenna just rocks
Bob, nicely done there . I would have liked to have seen some in build pics , but maybe next time then, ok?
Ian, welcome in here , The rules state no started kits, but show a pic of what you have and we'll see from there. It doesn't sound to far along maybe this could be a yes
Chris, welcome to you too , nice choice there and I hope to her done
Stick at 'em lads, everything is looking mighty fine
Paul

Very good sir, I have enlisted.
I will be constructing legendary Tiger "131" from sPzAbt 504.
Paint will be RAL 8000 and RAL 7008 from Tamiya mixes.
I have three days off so the party will start this afternoon.

Here's where I am on my Braille Valentine Tank build:
All Sub-Assemblies have been completed and being readied for final assembly. Bottom Hull & Running Gears have been painted after assembly. I opted to use metal barrel from Aber instead of using the kit-supplied part on the sprue.
Dry-fitting shows a big gap between the top hull and bottom hull, which I will fill in during final assembly:

Been a good weekend of activity.
Painted the tracks, washed, and some initial weathering started. These are now assembled onto the model.
Re-did the wash on the tank body and it came out a lot better, sealed with matt varnish. Once dry I put on the decals and sealed with another layer of varnish. Started the weathering process on the main tank, but haven't got very far on that yet.
Also managed to assemble the crew!

Hi guys
Here's some more in-build pics, taken just a few weeks ago, mostly of the RWS and the interior;
Scratchbuilt cradle for the C6 and a combination of the kit grenade launchers and AFV Club's RWS
Scratchbuilt parts for the rear door
Kit seat compared to my modified one with masking tape seatbelts
Interior cabling added
Modified gunners seatback and painted masking tape belts
Rustoleum Terra Cotta fine textured spray for non-slip
Through the rear door showing scratchbuilt rear view mirror and other details (sorry it's fuzzy)
Scratchbuilt antennas with hand tapered rod for the long antenna
GIB armoured glass and shields
And another finished shot
Thanks for letting me play, all the models here are really great!
Bob
