Great choice The new Echelon decals sheet is a must have for your project. Don't use the fuel drums as they haven't been fitted in Lebanon.
Olivier
Thanks Olivier for the info. Any pictures of ones that have seen a bit of action by any chance?
Merci à l'avance!

Does anyone know if either Germany or The Netherlands partook in any UN operations with the Fennek armoured scout car. I have a 1/72 scale Fennek from another kit that I can use in this campaign.

Hello Walter, Thanks for the info. I am going to enlist in this campaign now. I have a Revell,1/72 Faun SLT50-3 + PzH2000 + Fennek kit.I would like to use the Fennek for this build. The other two are being used in two other campaigns. I hope this is acceptable for this campaign.

Yes, the all white TUAs with UN markings were UNPROFOR in both Croatia and Bosnia.

Use Trumpeter for this one below.
Your first pic is African Union...not UN.
Echelon Fine Details makes a decal set for the Indian T-72M1s in Somalia.
The last pic needs the Trumpeter ASLAV kit and the unarmoured Real Model Coyote conversion.

Hello chief gunner, I think yes, I've found two another pics. One with a M2 machine gun, the other with two weapons.

Yes, The dutch version of the Bushmaster is a future kit of Kinetic.
Always for the dutch army in Mali, there are the quad Suzuki and a Mercedes Benz 4x4 but there aren't any kit of these vehicles.
Dutch soldiers seems to wear the multicam camouflage, right ?
Are the Evolution Miniatures US special forces figures a good compromise for a dutch soldier ?

Hello Christian
sorry for the late answer, I totally forgot to look through this thread. For pictures of Leclerc in service in Lebanon, have a look at my site.
Is is me or have this campaign enlistees fallen asleep? Not a single build has been started so far.
It looks like I have to show my project to start off things
Let me dive in my stash and I'll show you the pictures of the box and its content as per the campaign rules.

Wow, I read the rules too fast
So this will give me more time to choose between the Trumpeter Puma and the MMK VTLM Lince. The latter comes with poor instructions which are not for a newbie, but I think I'm no longer one

Hi Olivier please choose the LMV.
I would like to see how you build the axles. Instructions are not clear at all on this point and even with the additionnal photos MMK had sent me.
I think I will going with the dutch fennek for this campaign.
Campaign group built are more pouplars on this forum than on our french forum. Ribbons are a cool parameter for finalists.
I like it.
I have seen a modeler who have made 107 campaigns in 4 years !

Any pictures of BMP-1s in UN peacekeeping roles? All the pictures I've seen are BMP-2. Also, JGSDF don't paint their vehicles white...if I remember correctly. I've got a Trumpy Type 82 Command Post Vehicle that's been gathering dust. Any pictures? Any room for some artistic license?
I still have my Humvee kits I had planned on doing. This close to the start and I'm having trouble getting motivated to do either of them so I'm sort of digging through the stash.

Alex, it depends on the un mission. UNMIS in Sudan shows japanese vehicles painted white ;-) ... search also for UNDOF mission.
