Yeah man, I trimmed off the bottom tried to cover that up..........But the ref photo shows that it should go to the left side of the pedal.....how is your model?

I guess the PE goes on the back of the seat.

The drive seat doesn't have much detail, I scratched it a little.

The interior is coming along nicely.. do you plan on filling the back of the front seats.. or will they not show much?

Hi Hisham,
they won't be visable even if the side doors are left open and should not be really visable through the rear door.

HI Jay, that's coming along nicely....mine has slowed sown a bit. I have been busy working on putting together 24 seat belts using tape and spare bits of PE tie-downs from an old Trumpy Stryker, putting together paper MRE & drink boxes and other bits of stowage to fill up the inside. Should have photos soom....

There is a box goes on the top left of the roof: be careful....the fit is pretty bad putting it together and the bolt heads around where it fits don't leave much wriggle room.

Also, dry fitting some water & fuel cans into the racks at the back: none of the bits in my spares will fit! And I have quite a few different brands: all too thick. May need to remove the centre support or just leave them empty

If you build another, sand down parts B53, B60, and B61 before assembly. You'll get the clearance you need. A little judiciously applied liquid cement may get the assemblies back apart for you.

Thanks guys, will be careful.

How are the sink marks? Did the Mr Surfacer 1000 work? Or they won't be seen at all after painting?

Thank you

Looking good Jay!

Without dragging this off topic it is quite interesting on the different approaches to construction. You're installing everything before a paint pot is even opened while I build the basic shell and paint it but all the small bits (seats, radios, stowage) are painted before being placed inside.

Anyway, seat-belts and stowage allready to install tonight:

Hi Jay
that screen on the roof is the wrong way around. When it is folded down the screen will be pointing out the window

First seat done fully:

Quite pleased with it

HI, Sean

Painting looks good, I Want to see more.

As for the screen, I got it right though, The monitor has detail on both sides, what you see is the back side of the monitor.

Next step. It was very tricky, if I could do it over again, I would glue the B69 and B71 to the B19 first before attaching B19 to the rear bulkhead. Also, you will need to clean up B68 in order to attach the B69 and B71.

Second duke antenna is from ET model. SIde windows are well designed, you can just push those in, they will stay there, Later you can take those out when you start to paint.

I want to do more: it's been stalled for a few days....hope to get some time back at it this week. This arrived last week so spent some time with my nose buried it it last night to encourage myself! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Army-Marine-Corps-MRAPs-Vanguard/dp/178096255X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1402906525&sr=8-1&keywords=mrap

I missed that detail on the back of teh screen:sorry!

You're fairly flying through the rest of it and it's looking real good. Quick question though: why would a vehicle have 2 Dukes? I've seen it done, but don't understand the benefit of the extra one

How can you tell with the B26? They look the same both sides. Still looking good Jay

When you get to the gun tub H6 is meant to hold it to B67 part of the roof. It fits right through! So the gun tub will just have to sit in place but will be removable.

Finished the inside and finally sealed it up. Just now starting on the exterior. Sorry, no photos yet

Hi, Sean

They are different, the wrong side won't line up and fit in, try to dry fit it.

Both look great Raymond. Great job on them.

On another note, any word on when the M992 might be ready?
