Looking at pics of the real vehicle, there seems to be a slight gap on top of the A/C cover.. not a big gap, but it's there... at least I think I see it

Hisham

Wait, that shape you have in white plastic should be part of that side panel piece?!

base from the reference there should be a frame, and I did patterned the frame base from the PE cover... I just thought there's no issue with it until I fit the cover.

I guess I misunderstood what you were talking about.. Do you have that reference pic of what it should look like?

Hi its have the same frame like one in the left side... I did some scratch work on the right side due to the missing attachment frame.

Here's both sides of the one I'm working on and they both look the same to me.. so, I don't really know what it is that you were missing in your kit?

Hisham,
The right side frame that the photo etch attaches to for the AC unit is "Short Shot." Mine was like that to. Where Chester has the white plastic stock, all that part was missing in on the kit. Chester did basically what I did and rebuilt the frame.

Thank you Epi, for clearing it out... did manage to work on the problem, sprayed a coat of primer then filler will do the trick.

Hi, Jason

If you have Robert's walk around, look under file 72aa8f, RFT Pic FBCB2 antenna and Sat-Com and FBCB2, there is a metal plate behind the FBCB2 antenna.

I was reading this post from the other thread

"The USMC units in Afghanistan started to receive the MATV late 2009 / early 2010, as the MATV's came in the MAXPRO's were sent to Army units. The MAXPRO was a horrible vehicle for Afghanistan. The suspension was not suited for off road use. Probably was fine for Iraq or and area with developed hard surfaced roads. The MATV on the other hand was outstanding off road and almost refused to get stuck. We heard the Army like the MAXPRO because it had a rear ramp and was similar to the Bradley and M113 for entry exit"

Got to share these pictures
