Eric,
nice clean build. It's a busy looking vehicle.
How beat up are you going to paint it as?
If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs,
perhaps you've misunderstood the situation.

Mike,
Nothing major just some dents and scrapes, perhaps some rust and light weathering. Looking to paint it Soviet green with a little fading and basic markings.

Update on the LAV-AD.
Added the wheels.
Added the pioneer tools and did some touching up. Decals went on. I decided to not add any stowage or crew right now. The hatches are tacked on so I can open them later if I want.
And an outdoors shot.
And with that I am calling this one done. The kit was a nice build. It looks great OOB but could also get some added AM and scratchbuild attention. I should have a picture uploaded to the gallery tonight as well.

Hey,
I just enlisted with the Tamiya 1/48 Mobelwagen.
Here's the starting picture.

I used one of the rearplate's and the vertical exhausts for an other model, a Panzer IV ausf J. So these are missing from the sprues and I clipped the lower hull lose. I hope this wouldn't be a problem for my participation.
The model will simply be build out of the box, so no aftermarket. However I plan to a some mesh for the cartridge receiver.
And after a night of modelling this is the result. Still have to do some minor things, filling ejector marks and building some smaller details.

So far, so good. Just painted the inside with a base coat. Time to paint away once it's dry.
Cheers,
Tom

Heelo everyone,
Has I previously mentionned, I'm in with Legends ADATS conversion. Here are the mandatory starting pictures but I forgot the time stamps!

And I already ran into a problem...

The side panelsa are too short... So I'm planning on cutting them after the details on each sides. Otherwise, the details and castings are pretty good.
Cheers,
Christian

Christian, great choice. That will be an interesting build for sure!
I have heard the track set should have sink marks on every link - how does yours look?
Looking forward to see more

Thanks Mark,
I don't have the courage to attempt the digital camo as you did on your SA-6.

Ha ha! Actually the digital camo isn't that tough once you know the technique, which I didn't when I experimented with it on that kit. At the time I was more interested in trying that scheme than going for accuracy (shame on me!). Anyway, there are some good tutorials online for doing digital camo for anyone who wants to give it a try.

Coming along nicely, Jeff. I'd also recommend a coat of matt varnish to knock the sheen off your decals.

Jon,
Really nice work on the "88." Like the way you have it posed.

Am interested in your ADATS build. Another M113 conversion to add to my list.
