Really f***** good!!!

The work with wood is very nice, I'm impressed.

I admire those want to build ambitious projects and have the abilities to make it.

When done, this definitely gonna be a gorgeous job!

congrats, and keep on!

Audren.

Steve , Audren , many thanks .

Still at it , just threw things together for some pics .
Had trouble trying to figure out how to make that crazy overhang thing .
I horked some parts from the MiniArt tram pole set , I'll see how that works out .

Looks great! Just a thought ... maybe flip the MiniArt brace 180º and straighten-out the long end ... possibly add some more rods for more support.

Hell ... I have a feeling, you probably won't rest until you scratch-build the whole thing anyway.

Cheyenne it looks better every post. I'm enjoying the build immensely. Learning lots... I agree with Mike. Looks like the brace is upside down.

Aw shucks , thanks for the kind words , much appreciated !!!

Still at it , startin the brick work and damage .
The stumper will be creating that crazy glass overhang thingie ........... looks to be about a case of Miller Lites workin on that !!!

Aluminium roasting trays or carry out food trays are a great source for thin metal !

Cut thin strips and fabricate the necessary angle, u and even box section tube out of it. I used it for 1/24 load bed frame work, but there is no reason why it will not scale down to 1/35 purpose.

I use brass u channel and box section of different widths to press and fold the aluminium stips into channel lengths.

Just a thought

Thanks Nige , ya got the wheels in me melon turnin !!! ..........back to the drawing board .
It's a shame and a sin to settle for the solution I chose , I really don't want to deviate from the overhang in the ref pic , it's what turned me on to build it when I saw it .
It's just too architecturally [ had to look that college word up fer spellin ] crazy cool .

Jer , thanks man , upwards and onwards .

Here's a little scratch-building inspiration from fellow modeler Nick (stickframe) Haskell ... similar type of structure
(scroll about halfway down the page).

Hope this helps grease the wheels!

Nice update. The framing looks good and also logical, which is key as I have seen dios where the buildings would collapse immediately in real life! LoL.
Isn't it nice to be a closet construction contractor? I always enjoy it.

As my learned colleagues have pointed out Cheyenne you seem to have the framework worked out very nicely. My compliments to the chef.

Keep it up.

Finally got to start the pool .
The printable stuff looks a little stark and phony but the debris and wreckage will sort that out .

Hi Cheyenne - wow! You've got one awesome-packed build going on here! I'm annoyed I'm late to your party!!

The treatment over the cylindrical building looks great! While when it's done it looks pretty straightforward, I know it's not an easy build at all - nice work!

Yes, the rest of it looks great too!

Time to make this build a regular visit. Keep up the great work

Cheers

Looks like everything is coming along very nicely Cheyenne. The wood still blows me away! I just went back and looked at the whole thread again, and keep marvellng at the wood. Boy there are a lot of angles too, hey? Can't wait to see the next instalment. And how the rest of your roof line goes.

Great work.

Lookin at the pics I realized I made a major error , .... made the dam board platform to high turnin it into a melon cracker on the stairs above . Just have to move the platform away from the back wall .
