This is a feeler for a campaign.
UPDATE: This will be the Big Cats MK IV.
Any scale model that's Cat related. Even airplanes.
Any scale
Any manufacturer
AM is welcome
Partial builds are welcome as long as its in the early stages.
Post a beginning picture in the campaign thread, 2 progress pictures and 1 completed picture in the gallery.
I'm thinking of a start date 4-1-16 and run it through the end of December.
Am I forgetting anything?
The only thing is, I need someone to be campaign leader, because I do not have the time to do that job, with my work schedule.
What does everyone think of this?

There were at least two Big Cat campaigns in the past, but they included any AFV with a 'cat' name.
More details here.
You could do a Big Cats Mark III campaign, but I would be game for a German only Cat campaign too.

I would be interested in joining with Meng's Leopard 2A7, if we're making this Big Cats MKIII.

Awesome, getting some great feed back and interest.
We can definitely make this a Big Cats MK III. I wasn't aware of the old campaign, but that should definitely garner more attention.
Cheers,
Dustin

Dustin, in your initial post you said, "German WW2 Big Cats"
do you want to keep it just WW2 or any era just as long as it has a cat name related to the piece of armor? OR, get even crazier and invite the airplane guys ? They have lots of cat planes to pick from.

It would need to be Big Cats IV as Nitto 74 ran Big Cats III 11/1/13 to 8/5/14. see my badge below.
I might be interested as I participated in the 1st three.

Ok I updated the OP further.
Thanks for that info Anthony.
I updated it to Big Cats IV.
Anything Cat related, tanks, armored cars, airplanes, boats. Anything.
How do these changes sound?
Cheers,
Dustin

Hi Sal,
I'm thinking about about a Dragon Panther from the Italian Campaign or a 1/48 AFV Sturmtiger

Dale,
I submitted the campaign today. I imagine it'll take a few weld to get approved. And then we will be ready to sign up for the campaign. The campaign will run from 5-1-16 through 5-1-17.
Cheers,
Dustin

With such a long campaign time I'm in.
Not sure which I'll choose (since you state partial builds are allowed), either Trumpeters KT 1/16 OOTB very slightly started (have the torsion bars done, not much else) or Hobby Boss F-14B in 48 scale cockpit is maybe 50% done using Eduards Big Ed detail set and resin seats.
