Rob,
Your figure work is excellent! I love the camo and the X2 markings. Less usual than the standard three-digits you see on other German AFV's.

Those Archer decals for epaulets and badges really look fantastic! Having all of those little details looking so crisp just sets everything up on a higher level.

Gotta admit I love Panzer Putty. It's taken over many masking duties. Just don't let it sit overnight. It seems to never stop moving.

Rob, that camo is awesome. It looks like a green base coat. Great work.

Well time to mark this one done.

I will add images up to gallery, and am looking forward to the rest of the builds in this campaign.

Kevin,
Congratulations on your completion! It's a brilliant looking build. A perfect demonstration that a single color paint scheme can be made to look rich and detailed.

Kevin,
Nice job on the SU-76i. So, what would be your review/report card on the Dragon kit? I have that one and I have always wanted a SU-76i, I have a resin conversion, but just have never started that project. Hopefully the plastic will be more fun to build.

Thanks,
Stephen

Rob - Those figures are stunning! I have often seen figures that look out of scale, have soft detail or are not convincingly painted. These figures lend an artificial feel to a model. I feel you have to be very good to make them worthwhile. Yours make the grade.

Kevin - Your SU-76i is a real treat. I like the light tone of the green, so many of my Soviets turn out dark. I have that kit and after seeing yours will move it further up on the build pile!

Gaz - After reading about the subscriber program on this thread I signed up and paid my first installment. So far, I have seen no change in my status and my picture "gas gauge" is still bumping up against the empty peg. I have progress, completion & even model show pics to post of the KV-5 but need the room to upload pictures. Do I have to do something else or just wait for the Powers That Be to process the "paperwork?"

The Dragon SU-76i kit is based on their proven Pz.III chassis, and the new parts are nice. I wish they would have but more effort into the breech and interior to allow for open hatches, but other then that, it goes together very well.

Paul,
You should have a subscriber badge like mine to the near the middle of your header if they have processed your subscription correctly.
I think your next step would be to send a message to Staff-Jim and find out what's going on.
I remember when I subscribed, it was very automatic.

Good luck,

Gaz

I reckon my M10 Wolverine is finished! The paint scheme represents a unit in the 601st Tank Destroyer Battalion in Tunisia in March-April 1943 (the camo was actually sand glued to the hull)...the model is OOB except for some cargo and the wire tow cable. A very enjoyable build, I hope it passes muster!

Thanks for looking!

Think I'll give this a try for the campaign. Been ions since I've completed a large scale figure.

Very cool! I've always wanted to try a figure or a bust, I'm just not sure how well I'd be at painting one.

That M-10 looks great! How did you get the sand finish to look so good? I have the Academy kit that may get built for the Academy Campaign so I'm paying attention to good looking builds like yours . . .

I got some painting done on this beast. I was nervous to try the scheme. But I really like it.
