As for myself; Bulkhead Flatrack and Wooden Crates have now been ordered this morning. (Father's Day gift to myself.) Should look really good on the back of either my HEMTT LHS or my experimental Marine Mk ?? LHS.

Hey Guys:

Be sure to check out the bottom of the previous page (p33) - there's a lot of good info posted back there!

BTW., what is wrong with Prime Portal?
I can only see thumbnails of the pictures, not the actual pictures 🤔

Seems to be working fine to me.

OK - I'm gonna change that!

I can open the beginning page with all the thumbnails but when I click on an individual photo - NOTHING!

Well I waited until after the first of the month hoping the Prime Portal website would reset. However it seems to still be non-functional. I can get to a topic page of thumbnails but then clicking on any of the small photos fails to bring up the original reference photo enlargement??????

Check the link that Thomcat lists just 3-4 posts above.

We are trying to look at various reference images of the 1076 trailers but no dice.

Full server access on VERY large reference sites is usually NOT a technical issue but rather a MONEY issue. In other words there is considerable costs involved in supporting multiple large server databases. I suspect we may find this to be the more likely source of the problem. (Sometimes the same for Armorama.)

He had some servers go down last year and said he did not have much time, so maybe that's the issue.

Cheers Rob.

I came across this while surfing Shapeways. It looks like Bill Chapman (Bill's Models at Shapeways) is making 3-D printed 1/35 HEMTT A4 conversion parts. Pricy, but there if you really want to do one.

HEMTT A4 parts at Shapeways (scoll down towards the bottom).

I suspected you might think so. With those parts, the only major part you would need to work on is the lengthened cab like I did for my PLS (which wasn't hard). The rest is just details.

Equally interesting and pricey, €85 + 4 x 16 €...

If Murphey is right, then an injection moulded kit is just around the corner :-)

Best bet is to start a new thread on the new forum with a link in it back to this one. That is what I did with my ongoing MLRS build. Also post a link here to the new forum thread.

Don't worry, the asteroid was just space junk and we will all come through just fine.

Sorry but your solution is not really a solution -- we are not being told just how long the links to this "old" data will survive or just what shape this new "future archive" will take.

The only solid statements we have heard so far are:

#1 We don't know how long this "old forum" data will remain available.

#2 We don't know what form this future data archive will take.

This is all sounding just so much more and more ultra trustworthy to me, don't you think?
