Is the deadline still 5/31 or are we going a little over? I can get mine primed by that time but I wont be able to full scheme in time.
I think with one more week I can do it.

OK everyone,
I've just updated the front pages with all of the completed builds that have photos in the gallery. If there are any omissions, let me know.
Some good looking builds in the gallery!

Hey guys, apologies for the late submission (though I read that the final date had been extended).
Here is my humble contribution to the Italian campaign: Tamiya's Wespe (Italian Front version) in 1/35, OOB. For some reason I couldn't post images before, hope it works this time.
The decals are for a vehicle of the 26th Panzerdivision at Cisterna di Latina near Anzio, 1944. I decided against using the figures that came with the kit since they would block almost all of the interior.
Please go easy on me, it's my first build since I joined the website last year ;-)
Regards,
Lukas

For a first build (Just since you've joined, or after a long time of no building?) it is a very nice result.
If I had to make a comment I would suggest using black on the jack and tools rather than the silver. You wouldn't want bright shiny objects on your camouflaged vehicle, and also it was common practice to paint such things with protective primers/sealants to slow down corrosion. You can add scratches in silver where that coating chips/wears away. The Germans typically used a black lacquer on their tools. Also, any fire extinguishers on the exterior will match the camouflage, while those carried internally would still be in red or other bright colors, for obvious reasons.
Still plenty of other campaigns going on you can jump into, so keep building.

Lukas,
Great effort and congratulations on your completion! To get credit for the campaign you need to upload a photo or two up to the Gallery: Here

Thanks for the feedback, guys!
I'll definitely try the black lacquer coating, thanks for the advice :-) I ran out of my Mr. Metal colour and tried a new acrylic one which now that I see the finished result really looks too shiny and not worn enough.
It's my first build since I joined the site and the first build after about a year, I read a story about the leFH 10,5 gun and since I wanted to build a German SPG (had only build tanks before), I decided for the Tamiya kit because I know them to fit well with not that many fiddly parts. I had a bad experience a couple of years ago with MiniArt's T-70, maybe someone else tried this one, too? Still think about that tedious build when I look at it in the showcase. The Tamiya Wespe was a fun build, definitely recommend this one.

Just make sure its the newest rebox so you won't have to scratch so much of the missing gear from the gun compartment.

Oh yeah! That's for sure. I don't mind a few figures to hide blank looking areas either.

Okay the Dragon M3 GMC is done. It was actually finished by the due date, but I took the opportunity to make a base for it. I also removed the tarp over the gun as per the earlier pic of the real vehicle, I just did not like how much it covered up. Artistic licence, I made a rolled tarp to add to the fender to replace it.
Details of the dials...
Great campaign, lots of great guys here, glad I joined in. Thanks for hosting Gaz.
Cheers all.

Thanks everyone.
Bogi, it is a mix of Tamiya paints as per Mike Starmers (MAFVA) British colours.
Mix: 4pts XF55 + 2pts XF49 + 1pt XF66. I add gloss to mine and use Tamiya Lacquer thinners (Buff Cap) to thin.
