Excellent news, Bogi. Looks like a lot of those kits will be in your future and seeing them in your sleep.
Cheers!
chuck
Actually, I am looking at them even when I am awake.
And you can see them all together on page 14.

The current state of affairs.
all but done
These baskets/walkways build up like a DREAM! 14 parts each and other than an odd locator point to clear up and some mold seams on the rounds, go together very smoothly and quickly.
This represents about 20 min work last night.
Still to come, all those missile tubes.
If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs,
perhaps you've misunderstood the situation.

i think there are two versions, and the one modeled in the kit does not have the gun barrel supports.
The photos I have head-on seem to show recessed barrels inside the tube.

Weathering is a masterfull job.

By the way, won't there be a tractor for the first Flak?

Thank's Kalin.
To answer your question - no, guns on first two pictures will be like they are - no trailers, no tractors.

Really coming together nicely Bogi. I'm struggling for time to weather my one, and you turn out several.
Great work Lap Man. Love the camo work. An excellent build. Thanks again for joining in.

The Kashtan is built and has a coat of light blue grey on it.
Now for some shipboard weathering. I've got some pics with barrels/shrouds with the paint burned off and I'll go with that effect.
Also seen some pics with lots of fresh orange rust on the launcher and base. Probably wont go that far through.

Well done, Stephen. Gotta love that kit. Thanks for posting this. Did you use any photo-etch on this or is it straight from the box?
Cheers!

Stephen, nice one.
Kashtan is going to be a dirty girl.
Some Ammo/Mig/AK light rust and track wash.
The base
Gun bases, before
during
and after drying and stumped back into the panel lines with pink foam makeup sponges.

Thanks man, it's a land speed record build/finish for me.
As for the finish effects, it's pretty standard stuff. A blue 'filter' onto the lt grey. Some rusty washes and wiping the dried wash back with those pink makeup sponges. It's dead simple, even a mope like me can manage.

Thanks Chuck. I used Master Club tracks and an RB Model gun barrel.

All done but the final dull coat.
Overall not completely happy with the finish. Ancient Mig Blue filter did not 'filter' well but stained panels in a oddly haphazard manner.
For all the well-engineered build, the attachment of those basket assemblies underneath is just by two small pins and needs to be held in place until dry or glued with tenax or superglue.
I left off the muzzle caps and tried to replicate the staining from some of the firing pictures Still needs a little more work.

aloha,
LapMan: Congrats on finishing the Wirbelwind. Nice Job!
Stephen: Great work on the Mobelwagen. Looks good.
Bogi: A whole flak battery!! Congratulations on finishing and they look awesome!!
Mike D: Excellent work on that weapons system. Interesting subject and done very well.
Question for any of you flak experts: For the 37mm Flak 37, from where would the spent shell casings eject, and where would they pile up? do they end up under the gun, or off to the right? Thanks in advance.
Happy Modeling,
Zon

Hi Zon
They eject from the port opposite the feed and fall to the side. depending on the slope they either roll away or 'pool' close to the gun base.
Mike It looks fantastic. Really unusual but and eye grabber for sure.
