Thanks Bogi, really appreciated. It has been a struggle sometimes to get this one out.

OK, I'm calling the Trumpeter SA-4 Ganef kit done.
The missiles didn't turn out as I'd like. The flat coat didn't come out as clean as I wanted.

Whew, that was down to the wire! Before I get to my beast, a few words:
Robert Jan, thanks a lot! That’s a very impressive Flak 41 plus accessories and limber - the excellent weathering makes it look even more menacing.
Peter, thanks a lot as well - you’re right about not needing to paint the ammo clipped to the inside of the turret, but that was pretty easy compared to the many rows stored on the floor. It was a little exercise in masochism either way. Anyway, your Crusader turned out fantastic - good job!
And thanks to Angel, too! Your 88 is pretty awe-inspiring itself - it‘ll go well with your 100mm KS-19.
Richard, awesome Ganef! I see what you mean about the finish on the missles, but it still looks good for all that.
Because time is short, I won‘t comment on everybody else‘s finished builds, but that is in no way a comment on their quality.
My finished ZSU-57-2:
Thanks for the great campaign, everyone!
Jerry

Paint issues notwithstanding, it is still an impressive beast Richard. Well done.
Love the log paint effect on the rear Jerry. The ZSU has turned out very nicely indeed.
Thanks for joining in guys.

Aloha All,
Wow, some really great work on this one.
Pete: Nicely done. I still don't believe you work in braille. Also, thank you for the assist on the ammo discharge. Helped a lot.
Mike D: Looks awesome. I think you've inspired my Christmas List.
Robert: Your gun and bogies look fantastic!!! Such nice work.
Angel: Excellent build. One of my all time favorite guns and you really did it justice.
Jerry: So much ammunition!!! Great build though. Very well done.
Richard: Good job on the SA-4. Your metal finish is impressive.
And too late for this comment, but for your Ammo varnish coat, your PSI was way too high, better down around 12-15 psi. Also, my experience with Ammo is that it is really finicky and needs a really thin first coat, then light to medium follow-on coats. This being said, I've still been really un-successful with them.
Mike H: Almost there and looking good so far.
Kelly and Shell: keep pushing. You've got this.
As for me, slipping in under the wire. I hope to add a figure of a US soldier coming onto this abandoned flak position, but that will have to wait until I find the right figure and learn how to paint them decently!
Tamiya 3.7cm Flak 36/37 in 1/35th scale.
The base is set in a discount store picture frame and uses DAS clay, Vallejo Diorama Effects Brown Earth, Ammo Wild Ground Meadow grass matt, painted in Tamiya xf-52 Flat Earth and xf-57 Buff. The spent casings, magazine and empty ammo case are from Alliance Model Works.
Happy Modeling and see you all on the next one.

Very nice work Zon!
I have one (Dragon) to build.
Useful tip for the empty ammo cases, bookmarked.

Robert Jan

Alright here is my final. Totally unhappy with the barrels.
I first started with a Vallejo that came out glossy for whatever reason. Tried to fix with flat Tamiya, still stayed glossy, then tried a Testors flat and it is still shinning. So I give up as I have already lost detail with brushing on these coats.
while looking at pics of gun I found numerous pics of the rods above the barrels being either the same as the barrels or painted to match the shields. So I don't know which is "normal". I'll file that in the same category as what color is Dunklegelb.
My build feels silly of course with all the other builds on here with so much better work. Great job everyone.
Thanks !

Robert: Thank you. the set is PE and comes with enough to make 2 ammo boxes, 4 of the magazine racks and 12 shells and 12 empty casings. Its a decent set. Set no. LW35023.
Kelly: nice job!! that's something you save to put into a diorama later.
Happy Modeling,
Zon

Done. OOB except the DS tracks replaced the original indy links. Not weathered; just Future gloss and a matte coat wrapped around Tamiya paints. Insignia painted on.

Ribbons have been awarded. If you have not received yours check and make sure your finished model is in the campaign gallery and let me know.
I did see a couple folks who posted pics of their finished works; but I can't see where they ever enlisted in the campaign.
