I have to agree, it looks amazing.

Calling this one done. Went with a basic filter and wash and left it at that. Call it a factory fresh look...
Truth is I kinda ran out of mojo on this one and just wanted it done.
I will say my first time working with fruils was interesting. Learned a lot on how to deal with them. Just wish they weren't so expensive.
Pictures are in the gallery.

Rory, that's one epic tank destroyer you've built, well done on finishing the campaign.
I on the other hand have a long way to go as you can see in the picture below. at least i have pretty much finished all of the construction and have managed to add the photo etch parts as well. Hopefully soon i will be able to start painting the kit.

Great job Rory, on one of my fave TDs. I'm contemplating the Alkett version of this beast and here you've gone and completed yours already! Thanks for the inspiration.
David the JT looks the business. Seems all set for a lick o' paint. Looking forward to that.
That StuG...wow!
Awesome stuff.

Greatly looking Jagdpanzer IV Rory! Glad you made it to the finish line. I want to finish the same subject in the future - I have a shanghai dragon kit that I ruined a few years ago. Hoping that the newer Tamiya kit I got would actually get completed

Rory, awesome job on your Jagpanzer. I like the factory fresh look. It just rolled out of the motorpool after a new paint job.
David, Construction on your Jagtiger looks terrific. Always liked that massive pillbox on treads.
Keep up the fantastic work guys.

Hello Gents.
I'm jumping on board with this fun campaign. I'll be building the old Bandai 1/48 Hetzer. I'm planning on adding to the kit provided interior. Plus, I'm making it a cut-a-way. Loads of inspirational builds going on to fire the Mojo. Thanks for viewing. Bill

well since my appointments with the bank and dentist have been cancelled due to a certain virus, i have managed to give the jagdtiger it's first coat of paint. i am using a matt black car primer paint and the reason it appears a little glossy is that it is still wet when i took the picture.

Nigel, Stug is looking great, doing a grand job with it.
Rory, lovely finish, and your quite right ... Nothing wrong with a fresh out the factory look, they weren't produced with battle damage and mud and grime as an factory option so it gets a big tick from me.
Bet your glad you have some paint on the Jtiger now David...the lights there at the end of the tunnel...
As to my JTiger, I now have the tracks on ( and another massive thank you to Norman for donating them and saving me so much time and pain ). As they were from another kit I expected some possible fit issues, and although they fit, they are super tight, so I am now working on one side and glueing them to top of roadwheels to get the look right.

in my experience the light at the end of the tunnel is usually the oncoming train lol!

Finally got through the server busy messages to upload a photo from last week. I am done with the Jagdpanther now and will try to upload a photo or three later this week but no guarantees!
I have always wanted to do one of those 'rolling bushes' types of vehicles which is where I am going with this one.
Anyhow, here we are now. PHOTO IN FOLLOWING POST!!
Cheers,
Rick

Rick, your Jpanther is looking great, very nice subtle weathering and scratch marks on the side plates.
Here's a pic showing just how tight the tracks were on my JTiger...
And the other side with most of the areas glued down apart from the very last bit which I will do in a mo, where the up angle will begin.

aaaand I think I'm done. I might just add a bit more mud around the mud sprockets.

Some very fine models being posted lately!
My own build has had an unexpected boost thanks to the UK lock-down imposed today - I managed to use the sunny weather to spray some primer. Here it is all readied for a trip to the patio...
