Matty, great looking Opel! Nice job!

Andy, great job on the little Dio! I really enjoyed my build too, however, I have so many kits in the stash it will probably be a while before I buy another 1/48 scale kit...

Tomek, nice progress! Check your Inbox!

So everyone, this is almost it. Some of you are finishing 'til sunday and I have contacted a few others via PM so they can maybe finish it as well. As it stands now, we have 23 finishers. I should award the ribbons next week and start on the features. I hope some of you will post your final pics here til sunday. If you have any questins just fire away (PM or post here...)

Thanks for all your contributions gents!

Cheers!

Matt - Savage blitz. I really like your painting style. It is a type of finish I've been trying to achieve in some of my other models but can't really seem to get there. And yeah, my little troop needs supplies.

Andy - nice looking dio. 1/48th is a good scale. Been using it all my life - to me it's the primary scale and I really like that I can now put vehicles with my aircraft

Anthony - What a great little vehicle. you are off to a great start. It does remind me of some cartoon cars in a way. I like it.

Stefan - Thanks for a great campaign.

I've been following this campaign diligently and enjoying all the posts. I just saw a reference to photos being posted in a Gallery but can't locate any campaign galleries.

Can someone please tell me where I would find them?

Thanks and great work by everyone!

Here is a link to the 1/48 Campaign photo gallery.
http://gallery.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/25903

To get to the general are of Armorama campaign galleries, you can click on the "PHOTOS" tab near the top of any Armorama page. That gets you to the KitMaker Photo Gallery. Then click on the links "Campaigns", then "Currently Active Campaigns'. This last is something of a misnomer as there are many many past campaigns there. True currently active campaigns have a "! " pre-pended to their name so that when the gallery is automatically sorted, the active ones will be at the top of the page for easier access.

Go, go, go, Tomek, Jeremy and Konrad!

I also got a message from Andras (Spongya), he hadn't realized the campaign had been prolonged so he will post his final pics of the T34/85 asap.

Hopefully we'll get a few more final pics here soon! Just in case, here's the link to the campaign gallery: http://gallery.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/25903

Cheers!
Stefan

PS: I won't check the time you uploaded the pics to the gallery...

Great job guys - congratulations to all the finishers - some really nice models got done on this build. Special thanks to Stefhan for sponsoring this GB - loads of fun and a great reason to get one 'out of the boxes'. Well, about that done . . . done is in the eye of the beholder, eh ? Admittedly this one is still has more to do on it but (with the addition of a few more chains) the building part is done !

Lots of fun participating in the 1/48 Scale Campaign; on this one the work will continue.

Best,

Konrad

To One and All,
I would like to echo many of the recent comments posted here. Stefan, you have managed an excellent campaign. It made me finally build one of the 1/48 kits that have been growing on my shelf. The work presented here has been among the best modelling seen in any of the campaigns I have browsed through. This build has really gotten my 'modelling groove on' and I am now a member of 6 campaigns. Time to get to work!

Again, thanks for an excellent campaign to one and all.

Thanks for the kind comments guys!

In the meantime, Andras (Spongya) has put his T-34/85 in the gallery to beef up the Soviet cause Just so you guys don't miss it, here's one of the pics:

I'd like to let you all know that I have granted Jeremy (vonHengest) a final extention 'til tuesday as he has a serious test today and couldn't make it in time. I hope that's okay with you all. Also, Tomek will put his final pics in the gallery any minute now.

Konrad, I'm inclined to give you an honorary ribbon, just because your build involved so much work and you kept us updated of your progress all the time. In return I'm expecting further updates on your build! If anyone has anything against this please write now or be silent forever...

( Joker dude today, ay?!? )

With Tomek and Jeremy that will bring our final finishing score to 27. If we add Marc, who has only provided final pics and no build or pre-build pic we have 28. Any thoughts on that issue anyone?

Cheers!

Me again... Just checking through everything for the feature. I noticed Andreas has not put his final pics in the gallery and he's been absent from the site a long time, so I took the liberty of uploading his pics myself. That would make another well deserved ribbon for his M4:

Cheers!

I uploaded these into the gallery. It was a great project, and the first time to paint scratches...

Hi all

I've just finished my Kurogane (except for the star badge decal on the front of the vehicle, but I don't want to rush and damage this, so I put it tomorrow).

Battlefield or rather shambles.

And now I have to do better pictures, so see you soon.

I've uploaded pictures into the gallery, but I'm not satisfied with them. Tomorrow in daylight I try to make better ones.

This is my first completed model from the three and a half years, so thank you all for cheering me.

Thank you Stefan, you are great campaign leader.

And Jeremy, go with your Hetzer - you can make it.

Tomek: The new photos look good!

Hey guys, thanks for the support!

Just an update on what's going on:
Our A/C system went out on us late Monday and I've spent yesterday and today tearing down the units for the system to repair and/or replace a lot of the components. I'm still working on it, and I hope to have it up and running again by late this evening.

I had to take both days off from work/school, which means I have a bit of catch up to do over the next four days. Needless to say, I haven't been able to paint..

So here is where I am at as of Monday:

I can leave it as is if that is acceptable for the campaign, or if you guys can bare with me for a few more days I will see if I can get everything painted on it

Jeremy: the Hetzer looks awesome.

Sorry to hear about the a/c. being from the desert southwest, I know that ain't fun!!

I vote to give Jeremy the extra couple of days.
