Howdy
A lot of good work going on here.. I'm taking notes, just so everyone knows.. LOL
and
Nice Jeep there Nick. .. is that the italeri offering?
I should have my jeep done tonight and some photos up later or tomorrow.. only have a couple of minor things left to do... couldn't do anything last night because we lost power during the snow storm here in PA..
I'll have a couple of photos posted soon...
So I don't think I'll need the extension.. but mine will be down to the wire, as always...LOL..

I just got my pictures posted in the campaign gallery. The kit is a Italeri kit out of the box. It was painted with Model Master's paints.
As always all comments are welcome.

Hello again Fellow Modeler's.
I've finished the final details on my jeep...
so here it is.. the photos are not the best, but I'll have to wait for a nice day outside to take better photos.. I took these inside with my ott lights. And I've uploaded them to the gallery, so I finished a whole day early..
Some of the things I did for this kit was.
1. Ditch the 1 piece jerry can / holder part. I replaced it with a plastic jerry can holder from a extra's spruce from my Academy M10 and a resin Jerry can from Verlinden. Also scratch build a strap and buckle for it.
2. replaced the kit black out light guard on the fender with a peice of copper wire. looks much better.
3. Added scratch build straps to pioneer tools, and spent some extra time in detailing them.. I like how the shovel came out.
4. detailed up the gear a bit.
5. weathered the windshields with white and brown pigments for a dustly look. that has been cleaned with a few times.. looks good to me. what does everyone think?
6. and for some reason I spent a lot of time working on the tires..
constructive comments always welcome..
thanks for looking..

As the campaign is ending, there's a final rush it seems
@Tom, it's a nice and large kubel. The flaked tan paint also looks nice.
@Sean, I loved the Humvee. As stated Bart doesn't look too happy on that bumper , the flag color could be better and you might get some more dust and grime on that, but it looks cool and different.
@John, nice truck. Does it have any interior? I think you said it didn't, but I'm not sure.
@Nick and Delbert, nice jeeps! Delbert, photos are okay, they only look yellow due to lighting.
For those who need an extension. So far only a few required an extension, so I don't know yet it the extension will be a general or personal one. Will post here once Gary let me knows which.

Hi Emre,
IBG did release a resin update with the interior, but I didn't get it.
I was planning to scratch something for the interior but didn't have time to do it.
It would make sense to get the interior if they had opened doors , which they don't.
But well now I have more time to finish the other campaigns I guess...
Nice to see all the other finished builds !

Thanks for the info John!
As for all those campaigners who did not have time to complete their builds... I will grant a personal extension of 4 weeks after the campaign ends. When you complete your model and upload your photo after the end date, I will award your ribbon.
The campaigners who have completed their builds so far... Well done! I will award your ribbons tomorrow so all time-zones will be past 31st October.

Now that our Campaign is officially over, I've awarded ribbons to everyone who have participated and uploaded their completed works in the campaign gallery. If you think something's wrong, please contact me via PM.
If you were late, but would like to complete your entry, you still have four weeks. Complete your model, upload photos in the campaign gallery and contact me via private message. I will award your ribbon.
Last, thanks to all who have participated, shared photos and ideas and allowed this campaign to happen. While I was not the original leader, I was proud to have a part of it and see it end. There were 105 people originally interested and 46 of them have completed, which makes a 44% completion rate. Not bad for a campaign with so many interested.

Hi Emre,
Job well done, enjoyed the campaign a lot, some terrific builds in the gallery. Congrats to all who finished.
You should set up another for 2012/2013
Campaigns are a good motivator to get things built.
Cheers all

Emre, thanks for a great campaign but I do have one small problem, that being Im 'computer challenged' and can not ever seem to be able to upload pics to the campaign gallery! I have been able to work out that the pics are too big but still can not work out how to properly re-size them so they will upload successfully. Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers,
Nick.

What type OS are you running? Most operating systems (I think) come with some sort of graphics program.
Windows has had Microsoft Paint for a long time in the Program Files->Accessories folder. Start up Paint. Use the File->Open menu item to load your file. Select Image->Stretch/Skew menu item. This brings up a box where you enter the percentage to stretch the file. Just make sure you use the same number in both horizontal and vertical directions. Using 50% makes the image 1/4 the original size. Choose File->Save and you are done. Note that you can also use Paint to change the file type (like JPEG to GIF) by using the File->Save As menu item.
The KItMaker photo gallery has a 3MB size limit.

Thanks very much for the help Gary; I managed to upload a pic into the gallery by doing what you suggested. Didn't even realise we had a photoshop program on here, wife probably does, but me...anyway, its in there and again thanks for your help.

I don't know if you used Google Translate (which generally doesn't work properly) but that's perfect Turkish John!
Nick, I awarded your ribbon as well. Glad Gary stepped in to show you the way.
I'm glad people liked the campaign. I also had a lot of fun and I think this is the first ever campaign I submitted two builds. As Alan suggests, maybe we should have another one next year?
Gary, if you are reading this, how about a softskinned 2012 campaign? When would be available?
