Great progress guys
@ David, I like the way you made the craters in your road looks good, I would imagine that you will be adding figures to those upper floors
Here is where I am at
Added a dark brown wash to the roadwaycolored some of the bricks and added a black wash to the outside of the building. Now i need to work on the side walk, the windows and black wash to the inside slow but steady progress

David: nice looking building. I agree with Sal on the potholes, they look good.
Sal: coming along nicely. I think slow and steady is best for these buildings!
Happy Modelling, -zon

I see some great progress here, it kinda makes me feel bad (because I am not working much)!
I hope to have a small update soon (and I kind of decided to make a smaller base)!

Hi guys,
Good (and ambitious) builds going on here I like seeing them all come together.
David, Are you going to deck out the hospital with all medical stuff?
Sal, Youre building looks good but the different brick colour looks too evenly spaced , maybe add more bricks in or add an extra colour or two?
Cheers
Robbo

the projects are looking very good in this campaign, one that is probably the most challenging campaigns to date.
one tip i can add for those using the cork technique for bricks and cobblestones comes from laying tiles in real life. after laying down three or four rows of bricks measure from you starting row (which ideally was straight and square by drawing a pencil line to begin it) and see how the last row is doing.
measure the left, middle and right sides of the last row to see that it is evenly spaced so that when you get to the top of the wall you will still be running straight. measure every couple of rows to avoid crooked rows in the middle where it can be hard to judge whether the rows are being glued true.
hope this helps and keep up the great work. cheers, bd.

Hi Guys thanks for the comments, The colored bricks were completely random and the 3rd color was 2 close to the 2nd color so I may need to try for a 4th color
@Keith, Im not doing cork wall I think you have me confused with David

ive been slacking lately on doing mine. since im to the point where im working on figures, progress has been slowing. here is one of the figures that is just about done.
after trying to fit his rifle, i broke off his arm. so, i gotta do some repair on the shoulder and rifle. still have to add the rifle sling. Ive also been doing straps and Y harnesses, and helmet straps out of aluminum. ill be doing a final coat of pigments once they are all mounted.
one down, about 3-4 more to go.
im not too good at figures, but i hope the finished product turns out better than they are at the moment.
tried with the flash--
seeing as how the quality of my phone camera isnt that great, ill redo some photos later on with an actual camera so the face can be seen.

Hay gang, I got the DML US Light infantry set with the two figures and the motorcycle at the weekend I was thinking about entering it into this campaign set on a street corner like the box art, would that be OK for this campaign?

i have literally just found the tank figure that ill be using. took me a while. but, i wanted to make sure i had the right figure to give the dio the right emotion and to easily display that emotion to viewers.
ill be using one of those variations. not sure which one yet.
ps-the picture is something that was on the sellers website. so, i haventt recieved it yet. any suggestions on which to use would be taken into consideration. keep in mind, the person he is looking at will be pointing his finger.
with the suggestion, please say why so i can make an educated decision

Nice layout for the diorama, Sal. Nice that the scene shows two different stories depending on which side you see it from.
Beautiful figure painting, Jesse. On the commander issue I would go for the bottom one on the left. He seems to be following a line in the direction of a other person pointing.
I have still not decided what to build for this campaign, but probably some paras and a Tiger or/and a Marder III.
