Personally, I think they deserve special recognition for that. Nothing major, maybe just a star on their campaign ribbon to denote multiple builds ?
Unfortunately the system doesn't work that way. There is only one ribbon you can award to people and you should only be able to award one ribbon to a person. I think there were multiple ribbons before but no longer.

Gary,
No problem. I am not trying to stir anything up, just an observation. I really take my hat off to folks who not only build well, but quickly also. Unfortunately I'm one of those who take an eternity to accomplish a build.
As I previously stated, I'm really looking forward to these builds. Remember folks, we're closing in on the 100 year mark for WWI. It will be here quicker than you think. Take it easy ..............Bruce....

RandyNo it wasn't that one. Looks good though ^^
If I remember correctly the one I saw was much more actionpacked. They were in the run, throwing nades through the small doorways in the trench

Am certianly interested if late in the year, Combrig have some interesting WW1 resin stuff coming out 1/350th this year.
Initial thoughts would be the armoured cruiser HMS Kent if it turns up in time or maybe SMS Scharnhorst.

Bruce: No worries, I'm sure that everyone here understands what your intentions are and aren't. I am a slow builder myself, and I also think it would be great if we could give special awards for multiple builds and such. I myself am going to commit to at least two builds, and I also am looking forward to all of the builds
I'm surprised that nobody has proposed a build of an A7V or a Mk IV or later British tank..
Simon: I think I remember the set you are talking about, but I don't remember well enough to know if it was what you are looking for. Keep an eye out for some upcoming releases from
Wingnut Wings Si: I love 1/350 scale for navy warships, just don't have the room for them for the time being. The SMS Scharnhhorst is a great choice! However I believe the HMS Kent was commissioned after WWI had ended and therefor wouldn't be appropriate for this campaign. Let me know if I'm wrong..
Alright guys, we are now at 12 interested excluding myself:

Jeremy-
Any time frame ideas as of, yet? I might be participating, but I have quite a few campaigns signed up for already.
I might be joining in with the Panzer Shop Mk.I Gun Carrier.
Cheers,

You bet, I'm thinking November 2011 and running it for 9 months. Any input is welcome Great choice by the way, I wouldn't mind getting one of those for myself.

Hi Jeremy.
There have been several HMS Kent's, 11 I believe, ranging from the "Kentish Frigate commissioned in 1646, to the current Type 23 Duke class Frigate, commissioned in 1998.
The HMS Kent I am thinking of is a Monmouth class cruiser commissioned in 1903 and was present at the battle of the Falkland Islands on 8th December 1914. She was sold for scrap in 1920. Combrig are working a resin kit of her in 1/350th due out within this year. As I was born in Kent, she would be my prefered subject. however if the release is delayed then it will most likely be Scharnorst.
I think the HMS Kent you are thinking of is the County Class cruiser commissioned in 1928, which served through the 2nd World War.

A WWI campaign sounds very interesting. I'd like to join and search for a nice 1:48 scale kit to build.

You can count me in. My birthday is in November and I've been itching to build a German Char or a tadpole.

Si: Very good then, consider me further educated and I hope they finish the tooling by then.
Occam: Excellent, are you looking for aircraft or armour?
Matt: How sweet is that! And both excellent choices btw, I'm guessing you are looking at braille scale kits?

November sounds like a deal. 9 months should be good, too! ... even for the Mk.I.
Count me in!

Occam, I just followed your signature link and found what a cool area that is! Looks like you'll do 1/48 armor then?
Simon, that guy just looks bad ass. He probably didn't play well with others as a child. Slinging his modern weapons and holding simple maces? The skull underfoot is just icing on the cake.
Getting more eager about this one-- November, eh?

I have this figure on the WB right now and it's fantastic (as are all of the Masterclub WWI figures). He is a badass, that is why I bought him and why I think he prove a popular figure once word get out. Word of advice, the resin is very rigid, so if you haven't already done so, be careful cutting the figure from the casting block, I snapped the left ankle on both the copies I have painted. Attaching the head can be a bit tricky as well, other than that this is very nice figure. The rats are fragile too. One more warning, I don't know if it is meant to be a seperate piece or not, but look for a small (read tiny) cresent shaped bit of resin, that s the visor to the helmet, it was in both of my examples. Oh and I just noticed the pic dosen't show it for some reason, but there is supposed to be trench knife on his left hip (it is included).

I haven't bought it yet. Im trying to find it on a european site.^^
But thx for the advise. I will be carefull when assembling it. I've had problems with resin figures before
... I just wish this figure was available in a larger scale.

Jeremy,
If it doesn't start til November I'll sign up. Gives me lots of time to drop out/fail to finish a bunch of other campaigns first...
The only Great War beast in the stash is the Tauro A7V, but I've been meaning to build it for ages so this may get me moving!

Hi, Tom!
Good choice! I think I have an age old "Waffen Arsenal" magazine about German armor in WWI. If you need reference support, I'll gladly sent you what I can find.

Simon: Best of luck!
Tom: I hear ya! Will be in the same boat myself more than likely. I have that A7V in my stash as well. There is a great little book that was released last summer on the A7V that includes line drawings of each vehicle
Guido: I would love to take a look at that article if you can find it

Yes, armor for me please. I am thinking about a French Char Schneider in 1/48 scale:
http://www.gaso-line.eu/news/gas50196.htmIt looks so cool and steampunk-ish that it might be difficult to wait until the campaign starts....
