Looking great, Marcin. Keep it coming

I will be joining this campaign with the Panzerspahwagen. Looks like a cool kit and it seems that Marcin's kit went together well, so I expect the same for mine.
Works has already progressed since I took these pictures, so more to follow soon.

Have not had any progress for awhile. Dam pills take over and before you know it 1/2 the day is gone and nothing done. Had to drop out of the fantasy campain and might have to concentrate on the loco only instead of the complete dio. hope not. Does anyone know what color the inside of the controll room on the WR 360 C12 would be? If not, I'll have to go with an off white or light gray.

That is what I plan to do! I have a 38T right now...just need to wait for the proper motivation. Until that comes along, I'll work on another campaign and get the 3 feet of display track done (full base).

Marcin, you build is looking real good just a few questions;
What is the 2nd photo a picture of
And is that clay that you are using in between the railroad ties, if so please tell us what you plan to do I am interested

Great build, Mike. The salt process worked quite well.
Nice progress, Marcin. What kind of clay are you using? It looks like kids play clay, but I do not think that will set over time?
I am making good progress as well. By mistake I drilled holes in the wrong side of the artillerywagen, so it take time to fill, sand, refill, sand etc.
More to follow soon....

A little more progress on my S.SP.Artilleriewagen. The base coat and the first camouflage color are on. The color here actually looks grey, but it is actually sand.

Hi guys!
Marcin, Mike, good work with weathering!
Marcin, I second Jesper with question about the clay. What is it?
Jesper, nice work so far. I know what you feel about making holes on wrong side of the model... been there, done that...
I'm doing my best to make some progress, the only problem for me is to find some spare time to do it... Nevertheless - here it is:
As you can see there is still a lot to do with this piece, on the other hand I finally can see a light in the end of the tunnel (I just hope it is not a train comming my way )

@Sal on 2nd pic you can see semaphor pole
@Guys, I used plasticine. It was 6-colour or 12-colour set I bougth some time ago in Supermarket that is why you can see some kind of rainbow. From my experince I know that plasticine after some time will harden but at the beginning it was very easy to apply it in a way I wanted. I can't say I'm satisfied in 100% but still could gone worse.
@Andrzej, I can only image how though is to find some time for wife, two kids and making models.
@Jesper, during my build I forgot to drill some of hole before gluing hull, luckly those I could reach through door
I've done some more work on the base:
I painted the base with spray can brown paint. Suprisly it sticked well to plasticine (it didn't flow) but of course I had to be careful during handling.
Next I use aquarium gravel from ZOO store. They had good selection in variuos sizes from fine sand to quite big pebbles.
I started painting with Lifeclor rust paints.

Good evening fellow campaigners! I heard worried rumours, that this campaign is dead quiet.. No fear, I´m struggeling with my Triebwagen with slow progress... Although I have lost my patience and motivation with this kit atleast tree times and almost started another kit instead. Sooo much everything little and littlebit bigger issues, flaws and stupid details to fix, that I´ve started to fear this kit will end up into "kits to finish in better time and motivation" pile.
But here´s a little update to things happened earlier, more current update will follow. But warning, if you plan buying this model, think twice. I would, atleast if it´s on store with full price.
So, ladies and gents, may I present to you the ejector marks!
..and believe me, these are not all, you have to fix. Plus some of these will appear double..
Turrets:
Picture tells all. You think, that´s the only little, unpleasant surprice with this kit? Think twice.. This issue was almost the one, that made me to skip this kit. But I´ve gone further after this, so I think I´ll fight to the end..

Hang in there, Kimmo. I am sure it will be worth it in the end.
The base color of sand yellow and green overspray is now on. Next is a layer of brown.
More to follow.

@ Jasper looking real nice and im looking forward to seeing more
@ Kimmo I can understand the aggravation with the turret doors that is a real bumer, but shouldn't most of those pin/ejector marks be covered or not seen
Keep at it guys still only 2 people finished

Still working on it. I don't know if I'll be able to finish the large dio I have been working on, health and pills are slowing me down. But if worst comes to worst, I'll at least finish the loco. Dio is 41 1/4 " X 22" and about 18" high with radio tower. Two scratch built buildings, gantry crane plus vehicals, acc's and figures. Just imagine the cuting and applying of shingles for the two buildings is a big job in itself. Right now I'm trying to put together a fuel rack with pumps on a raised platform. Just backdated the fuel tanks to riveted ones for time appropiate. And I didn't like the crane on the modified R/R car so I have to rebuild another. Problem with large dio's is you have so many sub assembly's that when you start another, you find after some time the last one doesn't look as good as it did before. So it's back to the drawing board to start again. Another problem for me is that being on disability, If I run out of building material, I have to wait for the begining of the month to stock up as I have to budget my month perfect or I'm deep in dodo. And the wife wont want any excusses, if I run short. Ask any married man how that goes over . But all aside, it is coming along and the reason I joined the campaign was to finish this beast up, and I don't want to disapoint anyone in the campaign, I already had to drop out of the fantasy one because of the slowness from health and pills. Yeah, they make living bearable but they space you out too much. So enough excuses, I have a R/R to build. Now where did I put that golden spike? One question for you loco guys before I go. The interior of the loco for the enginer, what color would it be? I was thinking an off white or light gray. I'd like to be as accurate as possible but when I googled it up the pic's were black and white. It's the WR 360 C12 loco. Any ideas would be much appriciated as that's what's holding it up from being finished so I can close it up.

@Sal: I'll try to hang on and finish this major pain in the neck kit. All those ejector marks are unfortunately visible, if you pick up the turret from train with it's interior exposed. Plus you have to fill dozens and dozens ejector mark on those rails in base.. I've been regreting myself, that I didn't pick up one of those same kits, that Jesper is building. I would be far ahead comparing this kit...

Thanks for the comment, Sal.
Kimmo, hope you get through the kit. It looks like a great model, but apparently it is not. Hang in there
