LapMan: looks great. Nice work on the paint.
OK, finished for the campaign, but there will be a load following in the Blitz campaign.
I will post to the gallery as well.
Sal: Thanks for a great campaign and a nice expansion of topics.

Hey Andrze, Sal gave a 2 week extension. So load them up. My home computer is sicker than sick and I still have to mail them to Sal to scan and put where they belong.

Hi Sal, I appreciate the 2 week extension bud, but I'm buried in finals and don't think I stand a chance of finishing. I've barely managed to get the body to finally fit together properly. If you're going to run another railroad campaign I'll go ahead and box it up and save it for that.

First of all - thanks for extension!
I decided to call this monster finished and I refuse to work with it any more It is almost impossible to build model of this size with two kids as curious as mine.
So, here it is - Trumpeter's 1:35 BR52 Kriegslokomotive:

Sal,
Thanks again for the 2 week extension. I have a little more weathering to do and have to complete and mount the tracks to a base, but here is the pretty much complete Autoblinde AB-40.

Sal, the size and the complexity of model wouldn't be a problem - I've managed to build more complex K5 Leopold railroad gun about 5 time faster... but at that time I did not have to deal with two kids running around the appartment
Zon, thank you very much! It sure is a nice model but on the other hand I feel that I could have done more and better ... but not in my current situation. After over a year of working on this on I simply cannot look at it any longer

Extension is over?? Goddang!! Just a fail, big fail... I even changed model to a smaller and simple one but still couldn't make it. My project needs gloss, decals, washes and pigments. Trakcs need matt finish and gravel (glued with whiteglue) over the originalsurface.
This is very annoying to see, that even a year is not enough to finish a model. My current workinghours plus a backproblem, that prevent me to build anything for almost two weeks, didn't help the case. Plus the original project and it's annoying flaws caused me to loose my motivation for months and yet I was so stupid, that I didn't change to another project in time.. My apologies to campaignleader and congrats to those, who made it.

Thanks again Sal for heading up this build.
I noticed that I forgot to install the lens in the spot light on the turret when I looked at the photos.
Here is a photo with the lens installed.

Hey Sal, it aint over yet, still some daylight left for the post man/woman, or do I have to curse out the P.O. again. Paid to make sure they got to you by today but it's not the USPS anymore; "snail mail service", when it absolutely positively doesn't mean didily squat if it gets there or not. Anyway, it was fun and motivated me. Nice job on all the great R/R stuff and even learned a few things along the way. Sal, thanks for getting up steam and getting everyone who could make it to the end of the line, and thanks to everyone who helped me along the way. Hope that the pics arrive today yet. Bob d.

Hey Sal, thanks for all the help. You just saved the P.O. Was making a quick scale model of the main building in D.C. and was ready to stick sharp pins and needles into it and set it on fire. Saw it in a grade c movie once, lol. As everyone will see, the base is nowhere completed. Still need about 8 more figures and lots of scratch building to finish up. The only thing I didn't put on the engine were the back air lines, plan to switch to the front, but want to tie the air lines into the replacement crane car so it's hooked up correctly. The final weathering will be done when all the rolling stock and engine go on the base. Now let's see how long it takes to totally finish her up, 16 years on and off so far.
