Thanks for the info! I already ordered the UM german cars and I built the HobbyBoss leopold and BR52. I'll check out the Ace cars. Also you said Revell made armoured train kits. Well I checked revells site but I could't find them. I guess the cars from Revell where old kits.

Hi all,
WOW !!! Seven pages of posts already and we have'nt even started this Campaign yet. I can't wait to get started on this project, My Stash of Dragon/German railcars are getting pretty dusty sitting there on the shelf waiting for the start of this project. Oh well, guess I'll dust them off...and go work on a few figures.
PS- Does anyone know a Hobby Shop here in the U.S. that stocks LZ Models kits, ie, the German G-10 Wagon.

I was just thinking the same. A lot of reponces and interest and still two months to go. Hey Sal, what time era was that bicycle powered platform from. If it fits into the middle of fall/44 I think it would look cool in my dio. I have to keep dusting off what I have of the base and it is really calling out to get finished, tempting, OH SO TEMPTING, but I'll be waiting and wringing my hands. Had the diesil out last night and was fondling the plastic.

Hey Sal, question. I know we have to send a picture with the news paper date ect., at the start date, but my ability with getting pic's to down load is nill at this point. Is there a way to submit a photo to someone and have them scan it to the site to comply with the reg's for the campaign? My computer won't accept the disc for my camera at this point and I'm about to use the whole system for target practice before deer season.

Sal,
Thanks for the pic posting info, I have a photobucket account and will try to post the pics as you stated. My BIG issue is I am such a computer illiterate with a Very very old puter that sometimes seems to have a mind of its own..

Hehehe Sal ,,ya its a biggin all right ,,the idea i have behind this dio is that the US troops have found this monster abandoned and some of them are taking a wee looksie while others are just walking on by ,,the M36 i have in mind will be crossing the tracks driving either to some other place or backing up the troops ..either way it done matter ..I will be making the gun look like its been sitting on those rails fro quite some time ,,so nice and weathered

O.K.guys. Need help getting on board this campajgn. Still can't get the computer to accept the disk for pic's so I have a problem. Tried the directions, cusing a few times, and the big hammer, but still wont work. Would anyone in this campaign be willing to take 2 photo's that I'll send to you via the regular mail, and scan them for me and post them on the sight at the begining of the start date and at the end? I figure that short of buying a new computer, that's the only way I can do this. Any help here would be appriciated.

All right,,just signed on for this campaign. It'll be my first effort on this site. Been hiding & watching, (picking up tips, ideas, etc),, for a long time, but the RR idea really caught my attention. Not sure what the project will employ yet,, but I'm really looking forward to getting/being involved.. Oddball,,,
Even my pick-up is panzer grey.
