Dont' know what I'll do for this one, but I'm enlisted! Glad to see we have to the end of May-- earlier I thought it was May 1. I might need that extra month! We'll see what strikes me, closer to the start.

They were used by the North Koreans, the one I intend to build was captured in South Korea, it was stripped of its turret, mudguards and the drivers window was somewhat enlarged. The end result resembles an armored dune buggy !
There is a photo of it in both the Concord and Squadron books on Korean War Armor. I have also seen the same vehicle (in motion) in a History Channel documentary of the Korean War

Enlisted and for the first time ever I have more than one choice for an armor campaign.

SNIP
Also the Tamyia Italian Carro Armato M13/40 comes with Australian markings
I have three of the very old Italeri versions of this in my stash, so this might be what I end up doing for this campaign.

Good idea, but I dread the sheer number of "whatever with a Balkan cross on it" themes...
I'd sign up, though.

Not an expert on M60's (or much else? ... hehe!!!) but if the Iraqi M60 was a captured Iran version then ok, but I don't know how a M60 would get to Afghanistan or Palestine as a captured vehicle!
But if you can prove they exist then that's fine build away! anyway welcome aboard Johnathon.

I know what you mean about the crosses but I sure we'll get some Red Army Allied stuff too.

Been thinking about my proposed T34/85 'BeutePanzer' and Andras;s comment! in the beginning I was torn between the T34 and ..............................
http://www.modeldads.co.uk/Life-at-the-Front/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/captured_panther.png ............ what a scruffy beauty!
But still plenty of time to keep changing my mind

Ok i did some research on the Iran-Iraq War...and Iran did use(and still are) M60 Pattons during the entire course of the War. here are some pictures....

Ok so i think im safe to build one.

My M3 Stuart is on the way. I still need to pick up the AFV Club suspension set. Does anyone know of any good Japanese tank crew figures in 1/35?
