Jon, really nice Camo paint scheme. Are you planning on doing any more weathering?

Martin, your Firefly looks super. I can just make out the start of your weathering. Can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks for the comments on my StuG III. appreciated.
Great finish on the Jagdpanther, Jon. Love the subtle chipping in the base color.

Jesper, Joel,
Thanks for the kind words - first time with an airbrush for me that was.
I did not want to overdo the weathering, so I am going to let it sit for a while and then take another look at it, and maybe apply some light pigments. I am trying to keep the weathering as subtle as possible.
Do you think it can do with something?
Jon

I'm currently doing the tedious task of cutting, and cleaning track links. Only 140 left to do.

Jon,
Honestly, it's a little to clean for a German piece of armor. A few washes of dirt, dust, and grime would do it wonders.
For what it's worth, I'm in the same camp of "used but not abused", but then again, I build nearly all USA armor.

Decided that I really didn't want to tackle the DML M4A3E8 right now, as I wanted to save it for a detailed build, so I switched to DML's M4A3 105 MM HVSS Sherman.
Here's a picture of the kit just opened up:
Started working on those 6 bogies assemblies which with 28 pieces each, are a mini kit by themselves. Three down and three to go.

Thanks Joel,
I will look at the JP again on the weekend to se about some more streaking and washes. Softly softly for this one to keep it light.
I have the HVSS in my stash as well, so I will be watching your build with interest.
Cheers
Jon

John, will post some pictures of the finished bogies in a few days. One thing I decided on was that I didn't need the bogies to work, so I've omitted the springs, glued each side of the spring holders but not to each other. I pre-glued the copper tube shock to just the long shaft, but left it to float on the shorter shaft. The three I've finished came out just fine.
I had a heck of a time with these bogies on my M51 Isherman build, but now I'm much more comfortable with them.

Lap man, your Panzerjager 1B came out great. Just love the weathering, heavy but not abused. Really looks good.

Have i ever said i hate indy links??
I have track links for each side of the drive train drive assembled and primed. With that done, hopefully i can have the lower hull painted and weathered before i continue with the topside.
Photos hopefully to be posted in a day or two.

Got a chance to dig up the air line I needed for the AB, mixed up some paint and got started.
Cheers Rob.
