Nice work Michael on the pre-shading.
After I repair the washing machine today I'll see if I have time for modeling.

Sorry about that Jeff, I just barely found mine. If I could only find room on the desk to start again.

Happy New Year guys. Nice to see all the progress and the completed builds so far. Now that the holiday season is over, it is time to knuckle down with the campaign. I have decided to go for Academy's M151A1 and CMK Vietnam conversion kit. The photos below were taken yesterday

Hello Guys,
Great builds and very good docs really liked the manuals by Delbert,
the first rule of this campaign says that the model shouldn't be started before the campaign that is: November 1st, 2012.
Mine Tamiya British SAS with Eduard PE was started on 2012 Dec. second week, but I didn't take picture at that time, because was not even a member of this great forum and before Armorama I usually didn't make photos of sprues
it was going slowly because I build another model simultaneously.
With PantherF recommendation, I show you current progress for you to judge should this build be considered eligible for this campaign or not
it really was started later than the start of the competition, of course in 6 months time, we can build a lot of jeeps, but I ussully try to switch topics, to remain motivated and return for bigger projects after some time just like you all probably

Hey Irvin, nice to hear.
Maybe you had thoughts already, are you going to scratchbuild those straps for bags, if so do you have any ideas how? Epoxy putty, or heated styrene strips?

Alpacino,
I'm going to use the Eduard photoetch set too. Heat them up and they bend easy. It needs new jerry cans.

it's not rocket science
For uploading things you can find some tutorials by searching the forum (top toolbar). basically you need to host them somewhere, on this site or elsewhere.
I for example use photobucket account (its free) you can upload there up to 2gb for free, and then you need a direct link (starts http://www...) and write it inside the image brackets on your reply view.
Cheers
Ignas.

With all due respects I feel a separate host is easier, but that's me. I use Photobucket and it can be posted anywhere.
