Under the wire! I'm calling my SdKfz 7 finished. At some time a Pak 43/41 will join it.

I'm done! Here are the fancier (but I'm not sure better) pics:
I need to redo the pics using better settings on my camera, as these came out too dark and grainy (the ISO was too high, in retrospect).

Congrats Chris! I was at AMORCON too and you certainly deserved that trophy for your sweet looking T-62. My son took the Best Junior award and we both had a great time once again this year.
Here is my update on the 7TP, thou I sense the clock is gonna run out on me here before I can finish off this one.

Thanks, Chris, and a huge congrats to your son. He did a fantastic job on his model...I heard more than one person say how surprised they were that it was a junior model. I enjoyed the show, too...it sounds like we need Armorama name tags so we can identify each other

Sorry I've not been around for a few days. Lots of lovely stuff making a final dash for the finish line....but we are extending to Dec 31st anyway for those in a panic.

Thanks Chris I'll pass that along to him, he was thrilled and totally inspired by seeing all the great pieces.
And yeah, we need tags, I recognize guys models more often than the actual person.

Fantastic finish!
I really like the faded/dusty effects. Weathered without being a wreck..
Back to the Armorcon theme.. there was one there in Berlin Brigade cammo that was done in the SF3D/MaK paint style. It was pretty grimy for an armor build, but fit right in with the aesthetic of the Mak-i-verse..

Hi all,
Lots of great models, full of my eyes.
Thanks, Sean Mullarkey and my participants for that.
I'm trying to finish my stuff.

I finally finished it, even with a repaint/clean/rebuild of the model room! One problem with the old kit was the hinomaru decals broke down and didn't survive. The plane almost met a wall at a terminal speed but biting my lip I just finished what would have been a trash kit. Shading and all the good weathering weren't done as I hit time and the room constraints. It's passable for the shelf though.

I was planning on finishing my Tamyia Wespe but the Aber PE set is driving me nuts, I won't get it done in 3 months for sure.
I took my old BMP-3 from SKIF 2 weeks ago from the dusted shelf and I might get it done in time.

Wow, there's been some great stuff finished up recently! esp nice to see some wings ......
A little progress on a long stalled Milicast Firefly,
and Milicast Comet
You can find them hiding somewhere in my unfinished Allied stash. I've finished three from this pile so far with several more close ...
cheers

Whooaa.... finally this self queen is done. It's soo annoying to watch all those unfinished kits in my cabin, knowing that they wouldn't need much work to get finished. Therefore I say big YES to make this campaign annual tradition, so a lazy builder like me gets something done.
Big thanks and thumbs up for our campaign leader, this really came in good time.
So here's my BA-64 aka Panzerspähwagen BA-64(r) By MiniArt:
Next I'm planning to start another self queen. Either Tamiya Schwimmwagen or Dragon Beute T-34/76. Can't promise it'll finish in time but I try.

Glad to see the extension has motivated a few more to Finnish some of those shelf-queens.
Very nice finish there Mr K, and you're welcome, but it's really the participants that make the campaign. Thank You, and every one else, for taking part so enthusiasticly.
Good progress Brent. No excuse now for not finishing.
Lovely job Kimmo. Just the right level of weathering IMHO
Having said all that I have yet to start. I have been working on one but just discovered I never photographed it's resurrection. Plenty of others to choice from though

Hi all! Another slight update, courtesy of the kindle extension granted! (Now, Der Schwan will swim, at last!)
As you see, I'm uprading the kit with GMM's excellent photoetch. It's very forgiving. (Last night I was able to reverse the bending on the compass tower without damage...)
The searchlights are scratchbuilt. Each of them comprises six parts. As for the ship's wheels, I replaced the pedestal for another in plastic.
BTW, with such standards as can be seen here, my swan will end being a lame duck, I'm afraid...
Regards
Javier

Considering the scale and the detail you are adding I suspect this ugly duckling will turn out to be a glorious swan!
