The speaker is looking good. I had to spread the measuring across several days to keep my hair too.

I also found my measurements from 5 or so years ago for the AAV's SINCGARS radio rack. The rack is installed on the P, C and R variants but how many radios varies. I took these measurements because Hobby Boss failed to include this in the interior. Is this doable for 3D printing? The wall thickness is 3/16.

I will be getting one of those. Also UGWS interior would be a cool thing.

I have a Platoon(-) of 1/35 AAV7s in the stash and am working on improving Hobby Boss' details. Its "decent" but not good enough for someone who spent countless hours on turret watch in those things. Worst freak'n seat in the house for peacetime exercises!

Speakers ordered. Many thanks for your time & talents, this is tremendous help with the details on my AmTrac builds.

The speakers look great in shape, but I have one concern. There should be slots on the round face for the sound to escape from. The CAD shots don't show them. Are they there?

That may be my fault, I forgot to include them in the measurements I provided.

But I don't know if they can be produced in 1/35 as the larger slits scales out to .0178" tall by .0017" wide.

Pro Art made them as lines that go from one end to the other in their resin set. I assume the same could be done for the 3D printed ones.

Kind of hard to see, but here they are.

I had considered them but they would have to be very oversized. To put them in with the correct dimensions would make them 0.01mm tall.

Finished both RT-1523E/F ASIPs and RT-1523A/B/C/D ICOMs. Radio on the bottom is for the manpack. I can't provide the actual canvas/fabric manpack as I just can't model it.

SINCGARS radios are looking good. Did you decide to do the mounts as well?

Those look good, depending on the cost (of project and these) I may attempt to build an interior on my AAVC7A1.

I have a C-11291 (SINCGARS control monitor) inbound. It shouldn't take long to knock out those measurements. It is considerably simpler in shape than that goofy speaker is.

Do you still plan on doing the older RT542, RT246 and R442 radios?

Yes, I am still planning on the VRC-12 series. I just need some measurements of the notch in the back of the radios. I've also had to put the SINCGARS on hold because I have no more measurements to go off of. Need measurements for the various mounts and amplifiers along with various other devices.

And I also have some good news: I just picked up the parts I had ordered from Shapeways and most of them look pretty good. There's one I need to resize and one I should probably take down. I also bought 2 other models that weren't mine so I plan to do an in-box, or in this case in-bag, review of them. But so far they look pretty good. I'll get some pictures up soon.

Do you have any dimensions for them?

And here are some pictures of some of the products I got today. 1 is still in production; a 1/144 set of StuG III/IV schurzen. 1 isn't show: the generic grab handles. They came out poor and undersized. I'll either redo them or take them off completely. Pictures:

Top view of the MCS' of the VIC-3 and VIC-5 sets

AN/VIC-5 pictures.

AN/VIC-3(V) pictures.

AN/VIC-1 pictures.

AN/VIC-3(V) basic set.

LV2 set. This I ordered in Frosted Ultra detail instead of the Frosted Extreme that I ordered the rest of the VIC sets in. Based on the looks of this set I think I'll take out the Ultra Detail option. The markup for me is pretty much the same between materials. Even though it'll cost more, I think it will be worth it to have the Extreme Material based on the differences shown. Opinions?

This is the "1/144 desert base." More like 1/700 and smaller. I'll enlarge it.

M3 Stuart Light guards.

1/700 Mk 29 GMLS missile launcher. Rotates when assembled too.

M113 ramp pulley.

Stowage box latches.

Also my new business card. I have it up on the store in case anyone wants one.

Below are products that I did not design but bought.

1/35 Boomerang III. It looks pretty good from what I see. I'll try to do an "in-bag" review of it soon.

1/35 M2HB .50 cal machine gun. Also looks pretty good. I will also do an "in-bag" review for this if I can.

I've previously said that I can not do wheels at this time. There are some tutorials available which I'll go ahead and use.

I think I might also scale up the VIC-3 and -5 sets to 1/16. Any interest in that?

Thank you for the offerings! I saw these in a M1165A1 Humvee at the Dayton Airshow June 18, 2016

I also saw one of these in a NY National Guard humvee at the Jones Beach Air Show this past May. I was able to take a picture but I didn't want to take too many or take measurements because I didn't know what would be thought of it. But I didn't get pictures of the interior of a LMTV and FMTV as well as the humvee.

Oh, and any interest in a 1:1 or 1:2/1:5 VIC-1 MCS kit? I've been thinking of something like this for a while but not sure if there'd be any interest in such a thing.

Is there any interest in 1/2 or 1/5? I also found good drawings of a M35A2 dome light so I'll get started on that.
